It's because firstly we are the second country worldwide with the highest favourable ratings of America after the Philippines.Over here,we don't regard you if you claim to be an immigrant of all the European countries except UK which we see as our spiritual or second home due to the exclusive relationship with the King of Ashanti Kingdom(one of the most powerful Kings in Africa),the King of Akyeam Abuakwa State and Queen Elizabeth II with the UK Royal Family.They visit eachother regularly.And about America,that's the only country we deem fit to call Abroad.The rest are highly disregarded with high underratingsWe are visa free and visa on arrival to Singapore and about 74 different countries buh we never use them.It's America or stay in Ghana.Buh that is reducing drastically.We now travel verv less cos we say Ghana has everything we need now so it's the affluent ones that travel for holidays and job or business purposes or to visit family

i don't have issue with Tanzania. i only suspect kazikazi want to compare and that is why i uploaded the pictures here.


whenever i hear Tanzania , two things comes to my mind. julius nyere and Kilimanjaro. i have a basic knowledge of them.

That doesn't explain why nearly 30% of Ghanians are 'desperately' applying for a green card when they have the world fastest economic growth. Its not like immigrants will find streets paved with Gold in the US. You'll end up literally cleaning toilets. I can understand people from desperate countries like Nigeria, Ethiopia, and war torn countries trying to immigrate to US and any other country.

Why Ghanians fed up and desperate to go to US?

Anyway in Kenya and most of East Africa - I think middle east (Dubais, Qatars) are now probably where most people immigrate to. US long lost it allure because people know you'll end up either a nurse or janitor with very limited upper mobility. UK is dead and buried. They don't even allow students to work anymore.
