Tb vs land ....i bought a land for 1.5 m put it for sale within 6 month to expirement which one was better (I have long suspected land bussiness was luck and speculative ) it now 2 years about to close deal for 1.8 m ....i have closed sale for .1.9m but buyer didn't pay ....but now 1.8 buyer yet to pay but 90 percent certain...profit is 300 k after 2 years...if I invested same in tb at 13 percent year 1 and 14.5 percent year 2 it will amount to...1.940 m .....profit is 440 k
.....but if I did more aggressive marketing I could have sold 2 m...and if I was smart I would have rent it out for 40 k per anum...

hahahaha..i spend far more time now trading cryptos looking for 10% daily there. Our NSE is too slow for one on the fast lane.

I got a mail from TRW stockbrokers saying they are now selling down on their sukuk bonds at 14.5% discount rates...

I think its a far better deal than what the Tbill has to offer now

Oh oh, I just confuse......my biggest yearly TB investment failed and now stanbic is saying 12% for 358days. Maybe I should do 90days and see if the rates rebound, the fear is it may even be worst by that time.

Locking down now will mean me taking a loss of 600k. Why didn't stanbic just manage the 14.37 Like that eh...

I just confuse, and I have already budgeted and started borrowing to spend in anticipation of a sure deal. I say last last 14% go reach my hand. This life is just funny, anything can just happen anyhow.

I will either open a first bank account and manage their 13.9% or I wait for the next auction with HOPE.

Irrespective of the political atmosphere coupled with market volatility, I doubt with absolute confidence that the primary market rate for the upcoming Tbill transaction would fall below 13.5%. Now, for someone looking to invest about N10m, the extra 0.5%(13.5%primary-13%secondary --just saying) does make a tremendous difference in the long-run; that is if you understand the concept of Time Value of Money(TVM).

This is not to discourage you from investing in the secondary market if your level of uncertainty is high, but if I were you with millions to invest for one year, I would wait till next week, perhaps the benefits are always greater--though I speak from experience, but I stand to be corrected!
