i just told you the cost of us embassy in london is also 1 billion dollar. and it is not up to burj kalifa height or got its kind of masterpiece.

Burj khalifa only cost that low due to Dubai low labour cost. ithe average hourly rate is considerably lower than other countries. This is combined with practically zero workers rights and entitlements. pls have something better to use when arguing

I already checked..70m and that building is ugly.Dubais and current world tallest building Burj khalifa cost 1.5b dollars..1b dollars is a lot of money.China Avic six towers in Nairobi of around 40flrs each is about 200m dollars.A billion dollars can get Accra the signature skyline it needs.

Accra doesn't need a skyscraper, i have debunked that logic a few times here. it is not only about building when factoring cost, they are more others that goes to it. American embassy in Ghana is more of security target base for the west African sub region. yet America are not even comfortable with that, they still want to have a millitary base in Ghana.

They are more that goes to it than what the public eyes can see.

Are Ghanaians fed up and desperate to go to the US? Hell no. I am Ghanaian and live in Accra. I have a Long-term US visa that expires in 2022. I go to the US at least once a year, spend a couple of weeks and come back to Ghana.Its much easier for a Ghanaian to get a US visa than a Nigerian. Most Nigerians are using Ghanaian passports because the Nigerian passport has been blacklisted by many many Western, and even non-Western embassies

The first time I applied for a US visa, I got a 5-year visa straight . For a nigerian, getting a US is like the proverbial camel passing through th3 eye of a needle! Fuckeduppedness Going to the US is no longer a big deal in Ghana.

Anyway in Kenya and most of East Africa - I think middle east (Dubais, Qatars) are now probably where most people immigrate to. US long lost it allure because people know you'll end up either a nurse or janitor with very limited upper mobility. UK is dead and buried. They don't even allow students to work anymore.
