I’ve analysed the reason for this.

Up north (core muslim north specifically) they’re more of a cohesive unit and have a unifier in Islam. Islam dictates pretty much everything in their region; there’s little or no difference between politics and religion where Islam is concerned. This is why you have the Caliphs as both the religious and political leaders! This gives them an edge over the south and allows them to come together and rally for a common goal even though they’re from different ethnicities!

Down south, we’re more disparate in our religions as well as ethnicities, and Christianity is more about ones personal relationship with God...having little to do with politics. Even when it takes a stand on a political issue, it’s not obligatory for Christians to adhere to any proclamations made!

Colonial Britain noticed this too, and used it to their advantage....hence the direct and indirect rule in different parts of the country during the colonial era.

Very true. You have understanding.

Buhari is a bigot islamic bastard.

We've always known his plans. He would get whats coming.

He is doing the bidding of the West who only want to see Nigeria divided.
It is such a shame that our leaders no longer believe in one Nigeria.

I totally agree with him.
Since we are all one Nigeria, then the oil in Niger-delta belongs to us all.
Same applies to every other state.

Be quoting stupid Constitution when people's farmland, environment, standard of living, health and other things are at risk sad

And when did we start following this mumu Constitution undecided
Africans are role models for ignorance and that is why the western world would continue to hide the secrets of the world inside the books because they know mumus like you will not care to read them,as experience has shown that those entrusted with knowledge have in time perverted it into stupidity

Nigeria is a fraud. The 1999 constitution is a fraud. The amalgamation of the North and South is the greatest evil against both sides. Sometimes I imagine how far the south would have gone in development if for this parasitic union.

Those clamouring for separation, it will never happen, no western power will support it. Nigeria can very well be 4 countries and each will take their destiny in their hands but no. A resource rich under developed Nigeria is in the best interest of western powers.

its the truth na, Niger Delta people will never have sense, Their opinion doesn't count in Nigeria, because they choose to be silent. i have never seen a set youths as lazy and unconcerned as the Niger delta youths, all they know how to do is drop out of school, join cult, and share community money while the whole country is sustaining on the resources of their land. it's a very sad situation i must say.

The provocation tirelessly being spurn from a certain frontier makes me wonder as to what fires, major players such as Defence contractors, aid supplies coys with their intermediary mercenaries, are constantly stoking.

Suits your naratives right? the constitution can be subject to change and in a situation were its been clearly designed to oppress it becomes a distastful joke to those its suppose to guide all the same you can see how much good the system has done your northern region___ region with an army of beggers your emir puts it and you here are the biggest losers.

You guys like writing plenty gibberish.. Islam has little to no difference with politics but christianity is a personal relationship with God. When Ayo Oritegfor was running his mouth during GEN era, where they talking about personal relationship with God? When pastors prophecy about APC and PDP, Buhari and Atiku, was that personal relationship with God? When some pastors said Buhari will die, wasnt that politics?

Hypocrisy is in your blood

Many people commenting here haven't even listened to the man's submissions, they are just responding to the sensational Headline. This man is being taken completely out of context either for mischievous reasons or for sheer ignorance.

I won't explain his point, just go back and listen with understanding. And if your understanding is so little that you are still not able to understand, I will understand.

Lazy Goat,Nigerians are progressing,Anthony Elumelu just opened a UBA branch in London last week, even D'banj and Wizkid were at the opening representing generation x,and one weak dreamer is here complaining?try and be innovative and help yourself.
What is this one saying again?

So because an individual expanded his business by opening a branch in London means Nigeria is progressing? What have your backward country achieved for over 60 years since independence? In this 21st century, your beloved country cannot boast of a steady power supply, good roads, good water, three square meal for its citizenry a day, even conducting ordinary election is war etc...

If 60% of Nigerians think they way you do then no hope for the country.

By installing this failure of a man as president the second time shows how hopeless and backward your countrymen are.
