At Nkwo Olo Market, Ezeagu Local Government Area and Ogige Market, Nsukka L.G.A, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and PDP governorship candidate, accompanied by his deputy and running mate, Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, the Deputy President of the Senate and Senator-Elect for Enugu West Senatorial District, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, and Director-General, PDP State Campaign Organisation, Dr. Charles Egumgbe, among others, thrilled jubilant traders and people of the areas with his presence, humility and simplicity as he moved from shop to shop canvassing votes.

The people's governor thanked the elated people for their support for the PDP during the presidential and national assembly elections and urged them to come out en masse on March 9 to vote for him and House of Assembly candidates of the party, promising to continue to serve them selflessly and with the fear of God.

At Ogige Market, Nsukka, Gov. Ugwuanyi participated in the12th and last edition of the second phase of the Enugu State Traders Empowerment Scheme, which assisted 2400 traders with the sum of N50,000 each to grow their various businesses. 1200 traders benefited from the first phase, making it a total of 3600 beneficiaries of the empowerment programme, in the first and second phase.

It was indeed a colourful outing for the PDP family as the people, trooped out in their numbers to welcome the governor and his entourage, assuring them of their overwhelming votes at the polls.

March 9 elections will surely end in Praise, for Enugu State is truly in the hands of God. #amokelouis

Ugwuanyi understands the need for grassroot development. He's focusing on the grassroot that was left untouched by the predecessor who focused mainly on enugu towns.
I hope he won't reneged on his promises when elected to serve second tenure like the drunkard in Anambra's Government house.
