Hello Justwise and other great gurus...

Please I need to know the minimum bal I should have in my savings account to apply for a 2years visit visa. My 6months just expired.

Thank you.

There is nothing like that, visa application does not work that way. How much do you earn and how much are you planning to spend is the issue here.

Hello justwise

Please kindly help me with these questions;

1) I want to apply for uk visa for my daughter(who is a year old) and I...how do I put my daughter’s visa application in one account with mine on gov.uk because sub visa type is showing anything on visa4uk

2) who should I put as paying part of the trip.. is it my husband or his employer (his family company where he is the MD ) or my employer (my family company where I am a director)

3) what duration of visa can I apply for my daughter as this is her first time..

Thank you.

1. You have to apply separately for her.

2. Both of you or one of you but company's account shouldn't be used, the cost of the trip should come from your personal account

3. 6 months

I earn 400K monthly... I plan to spend 550K on my trip. I stayed 10days during my last visit. I have about 1.3m bal in savings.

Hello Everyone,

I'm having some challenges filling the UK visa online application form. The visa subtypes section is greyed out as subtype categories are not listed. I have also realized there is a new form which I have already filled but I don't know how to add my spouse to my application so as to make it a single application for us. This was possible on the old application form.

Below URL is the new online form.
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/resume/5bdbe174-d5e3-432d-96f2-4da3335d9610

Below is assumed to be the old URL
https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/account/loggedout

Please, I need your advice on this.

The bank statement of account should be original if possible, while other back up documents can be clear scanned copies on A4 size paper.

Hi gurus.

I have been a silent reader and got all the information I needed to apply for my UK visa and I was confident enough to apply.

I got refused a visitors visa. I plan to attend london motor show and do some sightseeing as Im into importations of cars and sales with a monthly income N950,000 ( I import cars from US)

I submitted both salary and company account statement. Salary account - 5M, company’s about 10M
Bank reference letter for both accounts.
Cars bill of lading about 17 copies
Cars purchase receipt from US car auction, about 10 copies
Company Car sales receipt
Company Tax clearance and receipts as I
have not received last year tax clearance
Personal tax clearance
Company CAC documents( I’m the highest shareholder)
Approved Building plan and survey
Family pictures
AxaMansard insurance statement of 250,000 monthly savings for over 2 years and reference letter with about 7M current balance
My Daughter birthday certificate
Marriage certificate
Intro letter from company
Cover letter explaining my purpose of visit, budget, and I explained my business
Tenancy agreement
Dealer license and plate number
Paid Hotel reservations
London motor show tickets

Travel history:-
France
South africa
UAE
Tanzania
Kenya
Turkey

I have a previous US denial and i stated it.

Please @justwise @epotek and other gurus, help me review this letter as I’m confused. Did I submit too much documents?
Help a brother. Travel date is still May.
Thanks and God bless

First. I think one of you made a mistake with the figures. 950k a month is £2,034 while the ECO stated £22k+ a month. There's a discrepancy with that figure. Also, it seems your claimed salary does not reflect on either of your statements. I think it would have flied if you had stated you pay yourself from the profit earned. I know how the business thing works and i might be wrong but its safe to guess you TAKE/SPEND MONEY OUT OF EITHER ACCOUNTS WHEN YOU NEED TO or DO YOU PAY YOURSELF THIS FIGURE EVERY MONTH? I'm not a pro and Justwise would have a better advise to give but the best thing would be to reapply. Your application is solid coupled with a good traveling history, the only thing that has to be figured out is the finances.

Hello everyone...
I made an application for tier 2 visa using priority service since last wk Monday which is about 7 working days now and I’m still yet to hear from them. Is this delay common, anyone had a similar experience?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Micafe: 12:47pm On Mar 06, 2019
Thanks for your response. The business account shows the debit of the 950,000 into my salary account every 26th of each month. Also, 22k is the yearly income, I dont know if it was mistaken for my monthly income because from the form I filled, the question was “how much do you earn from this job in a year” in which i answered 23,979

Also, I don’t spend money for personal use from the business account. Its strictly for business. All my spending comes from my salary account.
I really wish to to reapply but I need advice on what to add or remove. God bless

ECO did not believe your source of income because documents you submitted did not convince the ECO, how much is your salary and who owns the company?
