I got a message from NVC yesterday that my interview is scheduled in Lagos on 25th April at 6.30am. My priority date is 1st April and am on F2B. Although I was on F1 but triggered the opt out clause around July Last year which brought my application back to F2B.

Did you trigger the opt out while still in USISC, or when it's already at NVC
If you did when it was in USISC, how did you do it? Will appreciate the information

Any moment now. Welcome letter is up for guys from March 01 2007 or earlier. So you are in. See the attachment.

Nope .....that is not the "final action date" bulletin ooo.

That thing is for welcome letter oh. You get an interview letter almost a year later.

it is still a good development. Waiting additional one year after the welcome letter ain’t bad you know.

If you say so but the table for PD cut-off is different. The one show when you are current. Just get it right.. Final action date is always the first table at visa bulletin site.

I have my Interview next two weeks...from now...F4 category( am a derivative though)...I want to know if we are to make Photocopies of the IRS forms.. w2 FORMS AND affidavit of support form for each us (my siblings) aside the one for the Principal applicant!!

Guys, pls i need someone with a US account to help pay this AOS and visa fees.

I just received my welcome letter. When I login only my wife name was included my children were not as they were not born when the petition was made. I added them as derivative applicat. How long does it take for nvc to approve?

It won't be so long, you can keep checking your profile and they would email when it is approved as well. My brother also added his wife and kids to his own application and it was not long before they responded.

It only makes sense for you to use the petitioners details or anyone acting as a joint sponsor, because technically they are the people that have agreed to take care of you through out the process and guarantee you would not be lacking when you arrive in the U.S. I don't know if you can use anyone else but I just believe it makes more sense that way. You would also want to use an address that you can be rest assured that your document would get there in one piece. Those document are sensitive information and they take them very serious here.

I dont think so , except your sponsor income can not meet the US poverty line guildline but then you will be advised to get a joint sponsor who can support.

Tell her to send an email to NVC and send a mail to them with the correct documents, and give you a copy of her written email she wrote to NVC with the corrected documents to take to the embassy as evidence. Do that as soon as possible.

They usually say 10working days but it's mostly ready after 2days. As for DNA. They should let you know once everything is ok. Don't have a time frame for that

@Pretty16 but our case is not more at nvc but at the Embassy and they are not more picking our calls anymore at NVC

For posterity sake.
Had my interview today, though I had to switch back to F2B, if not I'll only be current by next month on F1. My siblings were all filled for separately.

The interview went thus;
Who petitioned for you? are you married? Have you ever been married? do you have kids? Are you expecting any kids? Are you in a relationship that can lead to. Marriage?, gave me a form to fill, that if I should get married before I leave, the visa is void. Then told me to expect a text message from 5 to 7 days as to the readiness' of my passport.
