Let me see if I can explain better.
Driving as a professional requires experience just as experience is needed for most professional jobs.
During your days of gathering experience, you will really hit the vehicle which is a fact considering drivers' attitude in Lagos. Driving carefully as a novice means you will be driving slowly, then expect riders to complain about your deliberate act of extending their trip for higher fares.
The vehicle will surely turn to a junk within a month and which investor will give his vehicle out to you?

Its better you drive constantly for about six months in Lagos before you can drive professionally.

Bro to be sincere it will be diffcult for anyone to give you a car to drive because he will be expecting bad news. If you ain't familiar with routes, how to maintain a car, what documents you should have, where to avoid at certain times, safety measures, if danfo hits the car what do you do? Etc . Driving is not about ability to move a car from point a to be it's much more. I advice you work as a driver if you don't have access to a car, or seek out a relative and drive his car or ride along with him to understand the way it works. Then I think you would be ready.

The tool is right for her, trust me. She's in a different economy. Just like that chap driving a 2018 G Wagon on Lagos roads is on a whole new level.

So today check engine light came on, I was so worried about it, I decided to visit a mechanic for diagnosis, d mechanic guy said 3k to check code, what!!! I repeat, oga dats too much nah, he said 2k last with anger I drove off, straight to ikeja, got a car scanner for 3500, diagnos car my self got 2 code, p0505 and p0456, jejely drove home to read what's up with car, will take car tomorrow to mechanic to fix. The guy wan rip me off, this is the 21st century.
I advise car owners to get a scanner instead of paying in necessary money to just scan the car.

Yea I know, just to make you see what they have reduce us to here and Mr Fahrenz will b like drivers are lazy, when they keep shifting everything to one corner, imagine using Benz here? Even the money you use in getting fuel won't return. Vulcanizer did meeting and increase their fee, if they have people like him among them, I imagine the outcome. Our level of mediocre in this country is next to none, we lack standard.

In other news, car owners should understand that the present rental system in ehailing in Nigeria ko le werk.
Even if your car is 2018 Tesla Model 3, it's only a very few drivers that will be able to deliver #30k or #35k week in, week out.
Accept that reality first, then you are ready to succeed in this business.

Take my words to the bank.

Then there is no need to invest such money into ehailing
