Pavarottii: what properties do you have? Do your Family own anything? Those that have something doesn't speak but you guys that doesn't have sh!t are beating chest around. Yoruba doesn't need to go to the red mud region for anything when Oyo State alone is bigger than the Entire South East |

Amumaigwe: It doesn't benefits a Common Yoruba man in the City, and that's misplace priority. Will the Oba build the roads in the City? Will he provide them with Better Health Care? Will he provide them with better Education? Will the Oba put food on the table of a Common Yoruba in the City? Will the Oba lower the Poverty rate of the City? In this new era the Kings are just Figure head without any power, the Government have all the power and if the politicians really love the people they should provide them with what they need and what we make their life better not just a Useless figure head that have no benefits for a Common Yoruba in the City. They have attempted to dethrone the King and put an Oba but the Court of Law did not allow them and you can not install an illegitimate King, in 1895 Yoruba raided the palace of the Emir and Burnt him alive but the Court of Law did not allow them install an Oba, but even if they are going to install an Oba by force will the Oba contribute any benefit to a Common Yoruba in the City? When in this era kings are just figure head without any power |

Na go dey beat chest up to down. This is one reason I want to see Yorubas and Ibo's fight. It is my prayer to see it happen. Trust me, that's is when you will know how cowardly an average Ibo person is. This fight must happen. Ibos must be taught a bitter lesson. 2 Likes 1 Share |

OlawaleSmarter1:Does the vast territory and land mass of the Arab nations stop the Israeli forces from denigrating them, mind you Israel as a nation is not up to a quarter of Nigeria in land but can we try them? One sane person is worth more than a million mad men same way as a square kilometer fertile land is worth more than a million kilometer desert and worthless land. Lagos is less than 4000 square kilometers but it's way better than Oyo state of over 20000 square kilometers in all ramifications. 2 Likes 1 Share |

FortuneDeGreat: Lagos is in South West, Ibadan is in South West and Ibadan is next in development in South West After Lagos both of them are in South West. People in South East are all over South West, when the people of South East are trooping out of Their place to South West so what should South West go and do in South East? Oyo state is bigger than the entire South East and it is also better developed than the entire South East, don't forget Ibadan City is in Oyo State 2 Likes |

B1ak3: Can you specifically say what about the proposition presented by this speaker is, NONSENSICAL. Please educate me. There is something l will liken to what can be termed loosely as, DEMOGRAPHIC REGENERATION. When you watch " Eastenders " a popular British soap opera it mimicks an bygone era of East London. Peckham in south East London is called " little Lagos" It's possible to learn Yoruba by living there without ever going to Nigeria. Society evolves and so do neighbourhood communities by language and cultural heritage. You can actually live in Miami without speaking English and survive on Spanish alone. The demographics have changed so much, speaking Spanish has become very widespread if not close to essential in some neighbourhoods. Lagos is a cosmopolitan modern mega city region. It's composition is also cosmopolitan. Things are changing and it as a city is evolving, moving away from Tribal antecedents very rapidly. Obama is a Kenyan by origin but became the President of the USA. Something that our tribal sentiments and bigotry would prevent in Nigeria. I don't have any substantiated data but l suspect that actual Lagos state original indigenes do not constitute up to 5% of the population of Lagos state. Nigeria is a Federation and that means that Tribal and or regional origin are not prerequisites for political office irrespective of location. The modern Nigeria requires that merit, integrity and capacity are the value themes required for good governance. Not obsolete and regressive Tribal sentiments. We want a PROGRESSIVE Nigeria not a REGRESSIVE BIGOTED TRIBAL one. |

Investbrooker:Funnily enough the reverse is quite the case, it's even a popular stereotype (and I'm sure you've heard it several times as well)among other Nigerians that yorubas only know how to make noise but can't fight, na only "aaah, iwooo, emiii, wa gbaaa, Ma si e lese..." and some other incoherent yet sarcastic gibberish of that sort una dey shout, break one bottle the yoruba lout go run pass the people wey run during the Ikeja cantonment bomb blast. I can't count the number of times I've seen yoruba vs Igbo fights back in days I lived in Ibadan and Lagos both in my secondary school days and on the streets, Igbo boys dey bully yoruba whether for fun or real fights. You guys are weak, deal with it... at least your women put up better fights than y'all. 1 Like |

OlawaleSmarter1:Ibadan hahaha, brown roof? I laugh again.England is one third of Nigeria's land mass yet they colonized you. Size has nothing absolutely to do with capacity. Niger, Chad, DR Congo, etc are over a million square kilometer each yet among the poorest in the world. Your understanding is irredeemably shallow. Simple reasoning eludes you. I pity your gullible mentality. 1 Like |
