Since I was born , I have never seen an Hausa claiming that they co own Lagos , despite the northerners huge investment in Lagos ( Danogote ), maybe because they have Abuja, kano, plateau and maybe Niger state ( those are states one can be so proud of ), It’s only our friend from the under developed area who always send their chiefs to come plead on their behalf when Yoruba’s rant are always jealous of our precious Lagos . Don’t blame us for having Lagos , blAme destiny for making you come from a ravage dry land which I learnt that no reasonable investment grows. Thank you oduduwa ( Our father ). 18 Likes 1 Share |

Koralords: Even though I am not a fan of Tinubu, I am perplexed that lots of igbos are more obsessed with Tinubu than their own politicians. You will never catch them criticising their governors, senators ministers, but they cannot survive 16 waking hours and 8 dreaming hours without Tinubu on their minds. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Koralords: The candidates they wholeheartedly supported in 2015 and 2019 were handsomely beating by a coalition party masterminded by the political sagacity of the Jagaban of Borgu and his cohorts... So it's a enough reason for them to attack the source... Because Throughout the 8yrs of Jagaban, They were fairly recognized in his cabinets... And no sense of marginalisation in the developments of their stronghold Oshodi,Ojo etc... Remember the same man started paying WAEC fees for students during his tenure without asking for your tribe... 5 Likes 1 Share |

chozzy: You are right in your unsubstantiated ranking. The UN, EU through their various agencies already rated Lagos as the 3rd fastest growing economy in Africa. The standard of living is very poor because of the high population of Nigerians in Lagos - a land with small land mass and years of neglect. When Ghanaian government was closing Nigerians shop, they said they want to prevent Lagos mistakes and crimes. If Lagos were to be an independent state, 80% of people now congesting Lagos would not have been in Lagos. Lagos have no control over immigrants being part of Nigeria, immigration control rest with FG. As a regular traveller, I can see the effect of the stolen fund of almost $150 billion and lopsided development during GEJ in some states. South West never benefitted from this development. GEJ camp attributed this to Tinubu opposition role. There are lot of states that witnessed rapid development in Nigeria during this period. You can only see this when you travel to different part of Nigeria. All those noises in computer village and other parts of Lagos is not the kind of city Lagos should be. The cry of marginalization will not allow Lagos govt to sanitize the environment. Also, until Lagos and International Donor / financial institutions are able to complete Mile2 / Seme expressway, the living condition in Lagos will be bad. 1 Like |

chozzy: The same worst city woke from ruins in 1999 with just N500 million/month IGR to the 5th economy in Africa and almost N30 billion/month IGR, this is the same city poor ipob economic migrants cannot wait to run to for survival. The fact that you are full of hatred and bitterness doesn't mean you shouldn't have basic common sense and even if it was poorly managed, you lots won't be running to a poor and poorly managed place for your daily bread. If you need a good picture of a poorly managed places, look at your own poor, backward and unproductive towns and villages. 5 Likes 1 Share |
