1. Please what makes one part of the eyes (left one) red?
2. For those who use laptop for work on a daily basis, what is the best way to avoid any form of negative impacts on the eyes?
3. What are the useful tips to make and keep the eyes healthy?

if the cause is physiological I.e that is the real colour of your eyes,little or nothing can really be done to dat,but if pathological I.e as a result of diseases,there are drugs like mast cell stabilizers or antihistamines drugs and also decongestant drugs..u can send me an e mail in other 2 explain yourself better and prescribe a particular drug to you

tearing and itching are mainly caused by allergens,so drugs like mast cell stabilizers and antihistamnies will really take care of that..however,there may be other causes like refractive error,a proper case history is really needed in other to make a good diagnosis,so you can tell me more about what you think might have caused it,when you usually experience it and other symptoms, that comes with it.

episcleritis is one of the major causes of redness in one eye,please try explain more if it comes with pain and discharge. Hi drsteroid and eye specialist in the house. i appreciate ur effort.

I have been battling with a condition since last year august, it started with constant sensation of foriegn objects in my right eyes, it feels more like insects constantly entering my eyes and consequently a straight look at light became an issue for me and i also feel like there is a wound or a scratch on the surface of my right eye.

I have been to both federal n teaching hospital severally and had my eyes examined but non of their prescriptions helped

Mostly in the evening, i do feel stuffs like insects entering the right eyes and it appears those insects do come from the hair on my head and i found myself rubbing my head most of the times. I need your help.

can u take post a pic of d eye here? any other symptom like pain, itching , redness? how old are you? comparing the vision between your both eye, any remarkable difference?

I am 28, no itching, no redness, for physical look, the eyes looks normal and okay. I do feel pain on the right eye, feels like a pain of a foriegn object or scratch on the right eye.

The vision is okay for the both eyes but its the sensation and the pain which feels like a foreign object or scratch that makes me blinks often

I am an Eye doctor, I discovered through clinical experience that most Patients don't really know about some basic things and problems affecting the eyesn and these has led to simple eye problems being seen as complicated and frightening to most patients and they don't really know how to go about it. Thanks for your reply. The blurry vision happens occasionally. My current glasses is about 2 years old now. I am 39years old. Reading the Bible or small lettered books are becoming difficult, I would close my eyes and open again to be able to read the small letters
