franchasng: I know the next thing in your little mind is Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga, kids lolz
We are talking about numbers not one man squad, learn learn!
There are four or five major market and trade centers in Lagos, namely; Idumota, Trade Fair/Balogun/Auto-Parts, Alaba Intl Market (featured many times on CNN & Aljazeera), Ladipo Spare Parts Market, Ikeja Computer village, and one other one for building materials at Apapa & Orile, and 70 - 80% of these markets are owned and dominated by Igbos!
Go to Lekki from phase 1 - 2, to Lekki County Gardens to Nycon Town to Queens Street to even Banana Island, Igbos are the majority owners of lands and properties in these choice areas of Lagos.
Go to Amuwo Odofin, Igbos have developed swamps into amazing estates, from Okota stretching towards Festac its now an Igbo city looking like Ikoyi.
Where do I start or end
20 - 35% of the tall buildings in Victoria Island is owned by Igbos, I can name them for you because I have classified info, so what are trying to argue for
Dangote might be the richest man, but Igbos as a single tribe have the highest number of millionaires in the whole of Nigeria, you know the truth.
One Iroko does not make a forest. Dangote is one Iroko, same with few Yoruba billionaires, but wealth is spread across all Igbo families and communities.
That's why Igbos don't worship one rich person cos every family or community in Igbo land have their own Iroko Yeah TRUE wealth is more evenly spread amongst us But then all this tribal banter and all between igbo /Yoruba is unnecessary As people, they are doing well for themselves as well. All these will take no one anywhere 7 Likes |

But trying to use the word 'host' as though to silence the views of the people, especially in areas where they constitute majority is downright pathetic. How do you explain this 'host' terminology? What privilege are given to Igbos by the so-called 'hosts' that cannot be gotten elsewhere? Any Ibo man that has land property in Lagos is definitely making money in Lagos and should never misuse the opportunity by looking for the downfall of your host. Taking our lenient for stupidity by calling us cowards is getting to extinction soon.
I only feel for those peaceful IBO who hav business that worth millions of naira in Lagos and other SW regions bcs am not sure they ar aware about the drum of war that online Ibo are stirring up
Go and sit down at your Ogbomosho hut jareh, see ordinary Afikuyomi making mouth and dishing out threats of war, when the war starts now, don't go and hide oh or be calling on Hausa-Fulani to join, or do u think Yoruba alone can face Igbo in a face off civil war You guys should stop beating drums of war that you and your forefathers have never fought before. Igbos have tasted war, Igbos have single handedly faced the rest of Nigeria for good 2 years, you tell me what war bragging right or accolade do you have to bank on victory Is it by using armed bandits and OPC members to attack law abiding unarmed Igbos going about their daily business that makes you brave Wait until war breaks out then you can start counting scores okay Declare the war and let's see how far, idiots making noise online and heating up the polity with empty threats of war. Stop attacking unarmed civilian Igbos, grow some balls and declare war so every Igbo will be ready and get armed, stop acting like coward Fulani herdsmen who only attack unarmed poor villagers in the middle of the night when they are sleeping and form brave, declare war and let everybody be at alert and let's fight it off once and for all, dimwit 2 Likes 1 Share |

I get where you are coming from but these people you refer to are the exception not the rule and as such are in the minority. I and most yorubas i know don't hate igbos. We love them . Their business savvy attitude and soups and ofcourse beautiful ladies. What we can both do is enlighten the radicals who are in the minority and Breed togetherness. There are some of my Yoruba friends who vote for Agbaje simply because they want to bring down the tinubu oligarchy. Others vote for reasons best known to them . But I believe a man is a man and an angel is an angel; during the presidential election, few people taunted some of us in the polling unit by saying Lagos is a no man's land and that they own Lagos and all . Spoke with them after voting and explained my original stand that we can all be Lagosians but no need for inciteful statements and we debated it and became friends afterwards. Some yorubas in the same place also said that igbos are arrogant . However these are in the minority. It won't be fair to use the opinion of the outspoken minority to cloud that of the silent majority . I agree politicians have tried to use division for their selfish reasons but we need to rise above that . Eko O ni baje.
I wish I could see any bastard that will say that in my polling unit and see how I will break his head with planks and wait for him to go and call his fellow Judas and see how they will run from that polling unit to their home(s) 3 Likes |

What do you think make a city rich, famous and great
You think it's when the city is habited by foolish, lazy tribalists who can't think creatively but are good at typing threats and hate words online, is that what you think will make your city great Kids lolz
Go and find out, what made USA the greatest and most prosperous nation in the world; it is their open door nature that brought in migrants, immigrants, etc from all races and nations to build America. That is why most wise and knowledgeable Americans are against Trump's harsh policies towards migrants and immigrants, they know that migrants and immigrants or foreigners built America, but kids like u don't know and won't know.
US Visa lottery played a key role in making America great, which is something Russia lacked, and reason Russia is not as prosperous and promising as USA today despite their technology prowees, because Russians are close minded racists, they hardly travel outside their shores to invest or allow immigrants or migrants to come into their nation to boost their economy.
You Yorubas are towing the same line that destroyed Northeastern Nigeria. The mass exodus of Igbos from Maiduguri and Yola had a very huge negative impact on those states' economy and even security today.
All these bullshit you kids keep typing about Igbos saying rubbish, Igbos are reading and they are very smart people, they are taking note, and with time you will understand the impact.
I have lots of friends who live abroad but have refused to buy any other land in Lagos, citing that Lagos is no longer safe, they now buy in Owerri, Enugu, Asaba, PHC, I am not here to peddle words with u, I am telling u confirmed impacts of you guys tribal threats against Igbos in Lagos.
Me, the land I have on Lagos Island, as a result of pressure from friends not to invest in Lagos property, I am already looking for buyer, which I haven't seen unlike before due to dwindling number of willing buyers.
Go to Italy, I have forgotten the name of that city, the indigenes go out of their way to protect migrants who are mostly blacks from Nigeria, etc and they even try to include them in their politics, and I was watching on CNN 2 days ago, they interviewed their communal leader abi mayor, he said they always ensure their policies are favorable to migrants and immigrants because that their city is one of the most prosperous cities in Italy despite recession in Italy as a result of migrants and immigrants who boost their economy, provide cheap labor and also tax boost.
But kids like you don't think.
You think if 70% of Igbos leave Lagos, Lagos will remain promising as it is now Keep on blabbing, only time will teach u hard lesson about life.
You can check from December 26 - January 6 of every year, compare how Lagos usually looks when majority of Igbos have traveled for Xmas to normal time, that should give you some tip.
Remember, Igbos control 95% of markets in Lagos, and most of these markets also rely on imported goods that come from:
China Japan America Europe South Korea Thailand India Hong Kong Indonesia
And Igbos as a result of their expedition nature make up 90% or more of people who control imports from the aforementioned countries, so their exit in Lagos will definitely collapse Lagos IGR and economy.
And if u think u can also import, then think again. Igbos over the years have spread their wings all over the world while u tribal urchins and local champions are busy mocking them for abandoning their villages to be traveling around the world, but yes their traveling around the world has made them pillars of world trade.
Igbos have made doing business easy and lucrative for all Nigerians. Look at Mini Importation business in Nigeria and Africa today, if not for Igbos who against all odds many years ago relocated massively to China, tell me how many Africans could have afforded to ship goods from China to Africa through DHL, Fedex, etc
Igbos made it easy for young Nigerians to start mini importation business with small capital and the reason many youths in Nigeria don't feel the impact of Buhari's poor governance that brought mass unemployment of Nigerian youths.
Yet you useless tribalists don't appreciate the great works Igbos are doing in your lives, fools!
So think before you talk, its not about internet war of words, Igbos have become indomitable, sadly What is this long epistle for now? We don't need you people here, is that difficult to understand? Go back to your landlock region, Simple!!! 3 Likes |

Who among you has the power to chose the region he or she will come from during creation?
