Yes I saw the stats,so sad indeed but do you have any idea regarding the cause of the accident?
Cause there are some rumours trolling that US embassy in Ethiopia issued a travel alert for this day in particular to any traveller in and out of the country including the US citizens who had planned to travel on this particular day, seems the US intelligent team knew more about this incident in prior just the same way they knew more information about the Dusit D2 before its attack was launched.

So US intelligence knows all this stuff
And doesn't warn anybody

Some sources say the plane had unstable vertical speed

In no particular order. objectively or subjectively. There is the list of those who decide Nigeria destiny and it is hillarious no igbo indigine on the list of 10. check below.

Aliko Dangote - The richest man in Africa(Hausa

Femi Otedola - One of the richest in Africa (Yoruba

Muhammadu Buhari - President of the country(hauda/fulani

Theophilus Yakub Danjuma - Godfather of Nigerian politics(north central

Olusegun Obasanjo - Former and Two time president of Nigeria(Yoruba

Bola Tinubu - One of the biggest politicians. Most likely to succeed Buhari in APC.( Yoruba

Bukola Saraki - Senate President and son of a (late) political godfather( North central but Yoruba

Gen. Ibrahim B. Babangida - Former military president and a godfather too.( North central

Adam Oshiomole - Chairman of APC nationwide( South South

Abby Kyari - Chief of staff to the president. ( not an igbo

lets go into religion

Pastor E. A. Adeboye. - General overseer of the RCCG
(the biggest church in Nigeria) . The past two presidents seeked and earned his endorsement to win the election( Yoruba

Yemi Osinbajo - The second citizen and Vice president of the country.(Yoruba

Mamman Daura - Godfather and nephew to Muhammadu Buhari.(Hausa/fulani

Yakubu Dogara. - Speaker of the house of representatives.( hausa.

it is not suprised igbo has nothing to hold among this category of people and it is evidence, yoruba and Hausa hold your Destiny.

The idea that igbo has any meaningful or progressive development in lagos or southwest zone had been debunked and sent permanently to the grave. so i am surprised you are trying to awake non exsiting evidence.

well, Your ethnic group IGBO is an artificial creation of the colonial powers in their bid to unite groups who speak alike or should i say, who speak different dialects of the same language. groups such as Ikwerre, Etche, Ika, Ukwuani etc should be Igbo. They may look so Igbotic and speak what seems like a dialect of Igbo but would die before they agree to be called Igbo. it is shame there is NOTHING natural about your group.

Yoruba is also a fulani/Kanuri creation. Before the coming of the British Imperialists, Igbos identified by their clans. Nkanu, Ika, Ndowka, Onitcha, Nsukka, Ikwerre, Ngwa, Ndoki, Owerre, Ezza, Okpanam, Aro and, the rest of them. Focus on your Yoruba tribe. I'm from Oshimili in delta state and, I'm Igbo.

All these bigwigs you mentioned exist and, your Yoruba tribe is only second to Northerners in acute poverty. BTW, Igbos have held all political offices in Nigeria as first holders.

First president and Senate president of Nigeria - Nnamdi Azikiwe (Igbo)
First post independence Senate president - Nwafor Orizu (Igbo)
First Vice president - Alex Ekwueme (Igbo)
First speaker of House of representatives - Jaja Wachukwu (Igbo)

We have enjoyed all political positions as first holders. Now y'all are bragging. Yorubas gained a voice in national politics only in 1999. Y'all were playing amala and ewedu politics when Igbos were making leaders. Igbos controlled the politics of Nigeria from independence to till 1966, when Nigerians ganged up against the people of the Eastern region. These Yoruba's political sophistication talks are void cos there are no proofs.

As for religion, Igbos are predominantly Roman Catholics. Cardinal Arinze has no match in Nigeria. He was Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments from 2002 to 2008. He has been the Cardinal Bishop of Velletri-Segni since 2005. Arinze was one of the principal advisors to Pope John Paul II and was considered papabile before the 2005 papal conclave, which elected Pope Benedict XVI.

Also we produced the finest soldiers. The first indigenous Nigerian to join the army was Igbo. I can't remember his name now. He's from Onitcha. Igbos had 15 army officers in 1958 while, Yorubas had 3. General Ironsi, an Igbo was the first indigenous Nigerian to attain the rank of a General and, also Nigeria's first indigenous GOC. He commanded the entire UN troops at Zaire peackeeping mission. We commanded all the army structure from 1960-1966. From Nzeogwu to Ojuwku, Madiebo, Eze, Amadi, Ude, Unegbe, Ifeajuna - the first Black African to win a gold medal at an international sports event when he won at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. These people made the cream of the Nigerian army before the civil war.

Forget Lagos-Ibadan Expressway fabrications and, talk facts.

Can you please answer my question who is to blame now for the nigerian soldiers been slaughtered by boko haram?

In 2010, when an Igbo was Chief of Army Staff - Azubuike Ihejirika, boko haram captured no territories. Ihejirika was so ruthless that Boko haram only attacked market places. Then booharry claimed the Igbos had come to kill them. He said Ihejirika should stop attacking boko haram cos they are his brothers.

Boko haram is a northern creation. They created it to match the Militants in the South so, they could destabilize Jonathan's government. Now things have gone haywire and, they're crying

You seem to have totally misconstrued what I meant by "progressive ". maybe i should have said achievement my "progressive " means no of skilled workers . Is it politics that made the south-west a commercial hot-spot? (that remain an interesting question) at least the capital has moved from lagos for more than 10 years. the Yoruba's believe in sending their children to school for "IWE MEWA" which was Awolowo's belief.

Yoruba nation wasn't a creation of the fulani, that parlance is an act of miseducation. but let me borrow you some senses. In the history of Nigeria, only two men have returned to Nigeria to face almost certain death even when they had the option of a very comfortable political asylum abroad. Both of them are Yoruba. In 1985, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida toppled the Buhari regime while Major General Tunde Idiagbon (mixed Yoruba/Fulani) was at Mecca yet Idiagbon returned.

In 1995, Olusegun Obasanjo (pure Owu Yoruba) was accused of planning a coup by the blood thirsty tyrant, Abacha (if you do not like that truthful description of Abacha or if you believe that ‘Abacha did not loot’, you can go and join him where he is) while he was away in Copenhagen. He returned to face almost certain death.

What more example of bravery can there be than these two shining ones.

Furthermore, there is the apocryphal example of Colonel Francis Adekunle Fajuyi who chose to die with the Head of State, rather than abandon his guest, which he was at liberty to do. I am hard pressed to believe that if it was vice versa, Ironsi would have done the same for Fajuyi, but then again, I may be wrong.

Nanmdi azikwe was just a ceremonial president.( he was tootless) Hausa was the lrime minister then. and most of the igbo names you link to religion and political head you mentioned up there were mere tootless. since the history of Nigeria as a country, only agunyi ironsi has attained a meaningful position among the igbo politically. All the rest are political balance to suppress the nauseating and demonstration of the igbo base on marginalization.

You're beginning to sound like a stark illiterate again.

Aguiyi Ironsi attained no meaningful position politically cos he was not a politician but a soldier. Unarguably, he remaims Nigeria's finest soldier not, some quota system General that was shot in the arse while, running away from the battlefront, looooool.

And I don't care about Awolowo's belief. The British colonialists built the University of Ibadan, while Nigeria's first president and Senate president built the University of Nsukka. You see the difference? Man, forget Obasanjo. He was the greatest incompetent and cowardly soldier ever seen in Africa. A man, who lost 1000 men to a "ragtag" army in one hour should never be associated with bravery.

The word Yoruba was first used by Ahmed Baba al Massufi. He used the word to describe, the people of the Oyo Empire in a treatise written by him. The word Yoruba was first used to describe people from Oyo only but later on it was used to describe people who spoke the language from the latter half of the 16th century.

And stop spreading lies. Fajuyi was a coup plotter just like Nzeogwu. Wale Ademoyega, a Yoruba man in his book "Why We Struck" said Fajuyi rendered a lot of support to them in preparation to the coup but, could not participate in the execution cos he traveled to his home town in Ekiti, for the Christmas celebration. The coup started on January 15. Fajuyi was not part of the finalization hence, he didn't participate in the execution but, he remains a coup plotter. Hassan Kastina, the military governor of the Northern region in 1966, called Fajuyi an action grouper. Kastina knew Fajuyi was involved in that coup. The only soldier, who was incriminated but, was not involved in the January 15 coup was Victor Banjo.

Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial president yet, he placed the Igbos on the highest political and non-political positions. He made all the decisions. He appointed Kenneth Dike as the first VC of the University of Ibadan and Eni Njoku as the first VC of the University of Nsukka. He made Mbadiwe the first minister for Commerce. He appointed Raymond Njoku as the first minister of transportation. He made Jaja Wachukwu the first minister for foreign affairs. These are just some of the appointments Zik of Africa made as the first president of Nigeria.

TBH, you've no case. You just grasping at straws, looooool.
