The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is moving closer to victory as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released results from 20 out of 21 local government areas in Adamawa state.

The results showed that Fintiri is leading in 12 out of the 20 LGAs so far declared by the electoral body with a wide margin.

Journalists, observers and other stakeholders are awaiting arrival of result from Toungo which is the last to be collated.

PDP stalwarts reportedly trooped to the residence of Atiku Abubakar where Fintiri received friends and associates.

Adamawa is not like Katsina or Anambra with mainly one tribe and religion. Atiku is a Chamba Muslim and Fulani man cannot Abandon his Hausa Fulani brother over Chamba man. This is Nigeria and North, where tribe and religion matters. Don't u know that Adamawa has more than 50 tribes?. I am from Adamawa, most people that voted for Atiku in Adamawa are not Fulanis but from minority tribes....Atiku really tried....If to say Adamawa only one religion and tribe.....then one can blame Atiku....if you know, you know

I asked someone in Kano why Atiku didn't win in Kano, he told me Hausa Fulani said Atiku is a tribe. Hausa man believe if you are not a Hausa Fulani, u are a tribe (Yare)

I can't believe you love falsehood this much. Just like Ganduje, Atiku lost silely because of his corruption tag, Alliance with Igbo and the Buhari factor.
