Let me correct you since you don't know IMO state very well.

Obowo and Ihitte people are of Mbaise stock.

Uboma, Ehime, Isiala are of different stock.

Mbaise, Ngwa, Obowo and Ihitte are of the same root.

This is a fact you won't know except you are from that place.

As for Ngwa, biko dem get population.

Mbaise pass Nsukka for population if you add Obowo and Ihitte.
i am from obowo we just share same boundaries but not same. Is just saying Ojo and Amuwo odofin in Lagos are same.

Ukwa-Ngwa clan- 9 LGAs (largest Igbo clan)
Nsukka clan- 5 LGAs(2nd largest Igbo clan)
Mbaise clan- 3 LGAs(3rd largest Igbo clan)

They are large not cos they dem born pikin like rats ... Ngwa no dey born pikin like rats...Ngwa population is not much...they were just gifted with land mass..that is why their land no dey finish...as for population wise...Ngwa clan is an endangered Igbo clan cos of dominace by foreigners in the Aba region. Moreover 70% of their lands are in the hands of foreigners(Igbos from other states)
bro you don't know of isu clan otherwise known as orlu, spread in 7 local governments, if you exclude remnants in mbano

Go read history....mbaise has more population in Imo state than any other people in Imo state..remember, mist the last place the civil enter and the war was called off, so many of their brethren were not killed dat much...
besides, they were original five clans, something like 5 local govts , until they group them into 3 big local gov't areas....they are like the ngwas of Abia state. .
I pray they win ...
oga please, orlu is the only place where the war didn't reach in the whole east, please don't misinform people

Most church buildings in Owerri noted low turn-out of worshippers because Mbaise people travelled to their villages to go and cast their votes. That clan get population no be here oh.

When we were in school in the 80s we were taught that Mbaise and Kano had the highest population densities in Nigeria.

Collation of results at the INEC collation centre
in Owerri has abruptly ended over the
destruction of result sheets by party agents
Trouble started when a PDP agent, Uche
Onyeaguocha said that the result of Ideato
South LGA should not be announced.
He alleged that supporters of Governor Rochas
Okorocha had chased away party agents and
wrote the result for their preferred candidate.
But other party agents insisted that the result
should be announced, citing a similar
occurrence at Mbaise LGA.
The state returning officer, Prof Francis Otunta,
after consultation asked that the result in
contention be announced.

But the PDP agents rushed to the table, seized
and tore the result sheet.

In a swift reaction, another opposing party agent
rushed to the high table and tore result sheets
of other LGAs that had earlier been collated.

That led to a free - for -all as people scampered
for safety, while policemen arrested the two
contending agents.
You see how evil pdp are.they inflated mbaise figures but dont want others to inflate theirs.nwosu should have inflated that of ideato north and nkwerre also....

While Mbaise alone cannot make a senatorial zone...

Sorry to say, you don't know much about Imo state.
How will they be the most populated area in Imo?
I guess those people you met/asked are from that area and you know it's normal for humans to call their mothers food(s) the best but when u meet a neutral person (neutral i.e not from Imo state or from the areas in discuss or honest person) who have traveled wide in that areas, he/she will give an answer with higher precision

But populated area is different from" populated clan"

I may not be right, but I believe strongly that Obowo and Ihitte Uboma are of the same clan as Mbaise. Proximity is the number one fact I base my submission on, coupled with the fact that they share a lot in common.

As per the Ngwa and Mbaise root, the only thing that relates to them strongly is their longevity of life. The two clans are blessed with grace of old age (I believe that is why the duo arguably have the highest population in Igbo land).

They have other negative traits too that they share which, due to the make-up of this forum, I will not be discussing.

Ukwa Ngwa 9 LGA
1) Aba North LGA population is (50% non indigin of Igbo origin, 40% of Ukwa Ngwa who are not indigin of Aba north, 10% Nigerians of non Igbo origin.

2) Aba South is exactly the same with Aba north.

3) Isi Alangwa north and south is belong and own 100% Ngwa indigin.

4) Osisioma Ngwa LGA is 99% indigin, 5% non indigin of Igbo origin, 5% Ukwa Ngwa who are not indigin of Osisioma Ngwa LGA.

5) Ugwunagbor LGA is the same with Osisioma Ngwa LGA.

I no even understand where u are coming from and where u are heading...why waste Soo much time typing without making sense...is that not the highest level of idiocy.

You call me a non indigen, fine. U know some countries grants one citizenship by birth, by residence of 10yrs on PR status and by descent of anscestors...if Aba is a country; I qualify as a citizen based on the above three yardsticks...in as much as I love my being Anambranian...my man my grandfather was born in Aba...during the time Aba was under Lugard's southern protectorate. My dad was born in Aba when Aba was under Eastern Nigeria...I was born in Aba when Aba was in Old Imo state...I spent close to 20yrs in Aba living with family...

How dare u call me a novice in Aba cum Ukwa Ngwa matters...I can give you names of two artificial autonomous communities in Osisioma that were just created under OUK there were not there when I was a kid. But today they have traditional rulers.

There is a community in Obingwa called Amumara- Ossa after Ohuru( Sen. Harcourt's hometown). The founders of Amumara-Ossa came from Amumara in Mbaise...

A person parading himself as an Ngwa indigene may not even know half what I know about the history of Abia state...

Put yourself in order and come back
I never told u Ngwa have population...I made it clear that they are blessed with land mass
