Time line Application submitted on 19th October, 2018. Course PhD University of Queensland. Full scholarship excluding OSHC and travel allowances. Documents submitted. Certificates and transcripts. Employment letter (university lecturer) Study leave letter Statement of purpose Property documents for hubby. Did not hear anything from DIBP since after application. My status remained as further assessment since October. I wrote them on Feb 4th but got no reply. I wrote again on March 4th and got the reply that my enquiries has been forwarded to the processing officers for action. Got grant notification by 8:20 am, 12th March 2019. Resumption date 1st April, 2019. Pray without ceasing, only God can grant you the Visa, not your qualifications. 5 Likes |

Pls anyone in UQ that can give me recommendation for accommodation suitable for a family of four Very urgent |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by FutureDon(m): 1:58pm On Mar 18, 2019 |
Loloantho: Which of the UQ campuses will you be attending? For obvious reasons, it is better to live in a suburb not far from your campus. I believe it would be hard to secure a place while you are still in Nigeria. Thus, I would suggest to look for a temporary accommodation (for a few days). You can then intensify your search for a place to stay long-term when you arrive. A good site to look for accommodation is realestate dot com dot au. 3 Likes |

Succeeded:Hang in there. They know your resumption date. Grant could come a month after lectures has commenced. If they are in doubt and need more time to asses you they will ask that you defy your admission and send them a new confirmation of enrollment. 1 Like |
