Yes there is, but i can bet u that not even up to 50% of those advertised as global rom is truly global rom... For first of all the global rom isn't available on the miui rom download page and I don't want to believe those sellers are having the global version, asin written in English global version... Highest being global rom which isn't even available on the miui rom page, and even the global version isn't readily available, they're still doing flash sale in India and it's not even launched yet in China, the pro... So tbh there's a high percentage of landing fake rom

There are no fake global roms for Redmi note 7. A simple search on AliExpress will clear all your doubts. I want to believe you are not a noob re Xiaomi phones.

There's a seller naming the device as global version, now, from my understanding, all global version are written in English... However the picture reviews shows a redmi note 7 written in Chinese... It's not news that some sellers can't be bothered to change their listings to accommodate new ones due to "ratings". I have seen this countless number of times where the buyers will just change the title of the item using same listing. I bet you if you go back to that same store in 2wks times, you will see the reviews are that of the global version.

Back to your question of global ROM, afaik once the global version is out, these buyers know how to source for these roms directly. It happened with the Mi 6/8.

Same sellers shipped shop roms even tho global rom is out on the redmi 6 pro and even shipped me a shop rom personally on my redmi 5 even tho global rom was out, i don't take that chance until i see it available on the miui rom page... I won't want to lay my fate on the premises of they know wer to source for global rom outside the rom download page...
