Is The 2019 Election An Improvement On That Of 2015 Election? by hisexcellency34: 2:36pm On Mar 12, 2019 |
The 2019 general elections has been concluded though results in some states are still being awaited over the suspension of elections in Rivers and in some states where it was declared inconclusive. Is the 2019 election better than that of 2015 or a setback?

To be honest No.. 2015 elections was more transparent, free and fair compared to 2019. 2019 gubernatorial and state assembly elections are so poor.. Almost 10 states inconclusive. Respect Prof Jega 105 Likes 4 Shares |

No no no no No no no no I expected a few changes after the 2015 election. What did Yakubu add? INEc under him is yahoo yahoo. They made us to believe that election is won on Television, not at polling units. How can the election body be under pressure to announce a winner? INEc is a fraud. They need a immediate reform to reflect the people's will not politicians. It is better to lose or win under a free and fair process than be robbed by INEC team. 41 Likes 5 Shares |

The politicians are more desperate as they know that it has become harder to rig, unlike the glory days of rigging like Jonah Jang espoused about succeeding with rigging because God allowed it. However, these desperate actions from the politicians have met a brick and incorrigible wall in INEC. INEC is not responsible for whatever banditry or violence perpetrated by the politicians, it is responsible for vote conduct, vote count, vote collation, and declaration of outcome in line with the electoral act. Also, INEC has demonstrated a highly commendable compliance with court orders as it concerns the suitability of candidates or parties for the election. So, if there is a winner, a winner is declared. If there is an inconclusive election, it is declared as such, without any regard for who is leading, shouting, screaming or wailing. 30 Likes 9 Shares |

It’s a crazy time for the Nigerian voter. The independence of INEC has become an irony, the way the officials especially Mallam Yakubu were bowing to the orders from the government shows how much more we owe GEJ as an agent of a New Democratic Nigeria. Buhari has taken us back towards tyranny. Nonsense and Apapa gridlock. 7 Likes |
