you don't need to book appointment with CampusFrance, go to either of their offices for interview; after which, you can proceed to the French Embassy or VFS to submit your application if possible that same day. thanks man...Bt wat abt d unemployment status..is it gonna affect in any way? |

how long have you been graduated? Although the unemployment issue won't be an issue for a student going for a master's programme in France, however, you have to state your activities so far after graduation. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by MANGOandCORN: 1:27am On Mar 17, 2019 |
vozkini:From experience, no2,that particular reason is more of a documentation problem. Check your docs or talk with someone who understands all the reasons for denial. It happened to a friend. I spoke with him and asked him to reapply with the right docs. within a week, he had his Visa. Good luck if you do decide to try again. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by vozkini(m): 9:12pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
MANGOandCORN: Well I don’t have the appetite to apply to their country again. Just got the hotel I paid for refunded few days ago. The nature of the political environment of Nigeria this time may contribute to that. As per Documents. All are genuine and among 7-9 persons that open their passport same day. No visa was granted. Even when I submitted another 1.7m entered the account together with the previous balance. Their refusal was deliberate and there may be a chance if I apply again but am not interested again. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Cyberknight: 10:21am On Mar 19, 2019 |
desmedallion: There's no legal way to transmute a short-stay visa into a residence permit without returning home first to apply for a change of status. If you want to become a student or get a job then seek a school or employment do what is required. Advisable you follow laid down procedures for everything. |

i applied for tourist visa to france and presently gathering necessary documents for submission. however, see this page, i discovered that so many documents are mentioned here which werent stated in the list of documents i was asked to bring along... eg the list i got after filling the form on the website doesnt say i should bring marriage certificate or tax clearance or a family member's bank statement. on the list i have... 1. application form 2. ID photograph (passport photograph i believe) 3. travel document (intl passport i believe) 4. prebooked return ticket 5. reservation confirmation with a tour guide (looks like the tour guides wont give me reservation unless i pay) 6. travel health insurance (i plan to use IGI) 7. hotel reservation or sufficient means to cover accommodation for the period of stay (do i just show them my bank acct balance to prove i have money to fund my accommodation when i get there?) 8. proof of income (bank statement i believe... what are they looking to check here?) 9. proof of professional situation (do i just present my certificate of incorporation as a business owner or i need more documents to back this up?) pls help break these things down 1 Like |
