Please i have a question,
A friend is married to a US citizen. Her husband filed for her to come over. Due to marriage she will be a citizen. The plan is to file for her parents to join her. After which she or her parents will file for her siblings to come to the US. Some of which are married and well into their 30s. 
Question is: how can her parents get citizenship by virtue of thier daughter being one? Is it even possible?
Also can she or her parents file for the rest of the siblings?

Yes,for a US citizen,parents ,spouses,and children under 21 are considered immediate relatives and they are eligible for an immigrant visa as soon as the application is approved.This takes a few months.Conversely,siblings fall under the family preference category and it could take 10 years or more before they can get an imimmigrant visa depending on their country of origin.

Abeg this us tourist visa stuff is becoming absurd and a joke.I really wanted to visit the US this year and my mom who was my sponsor has a very good job to sponsor my trip comfortably. I was not even asked about my sponsor.There are just so many flaws in their system.As I was there today I counted everybody that was interviewed and they were 29 before me only 4 people were issued the visa.
So tell me how do they know someone is "genuine" by not checking their documents or statement of account or anything just asking questions at face value and for those saying travel history is compulsory I have friends that haven't travelled before and got their visa and still overstayed their visa and others who have extensive travel history and still got denied.They will be forming "psychologists".
From my observation I feel they are filtering people at random and they only give the few who they feel will be still be safe for their economy even If they overstayed.

my genuine advice is, apply normally (don't use any agent),prepare for interview,am sure you have slot as a silent follower,good you have gone to Ghana with whole family,if you need further help, come back to the house, am the gurus will continue to assist.

Be careful of being scammed and if you for any reason, it is produced by your friend, DON'T touch it or have it around you.

Dont even allow yourself to be in place that discussion is being made about US Embassy ID

From what I know, they mostly know who they want to give Visa to and those they don't want to give based on information provided while filling the form. They do their background checks. I suppose. So going for interview I guess is just a formality. I stand to be corrected tho

well,the gurus will advice further on company account however you will need your account as addition. Don't worry about the balance,my colleague had 270k as balance (though he gets about 1M as salary) and visa was approve.best of luck

I also have been unable to get a date since i received their passports...is this another frequent occurrence? The pop-up calendar appears empty. I am guessing this means there are no available dates. How long on the average does it take for dates to be released and how do i even know when this happens?

If you check the US website instructions on dropbox they have ALWAYS said you MAY be called for an interview so it is not unusual.

The best you can assume is that they want to know if your kids are actually in Nigeria.
Your kids would only be able to travel with either you or their dad since their dad doesn't have a visa in my opinion Im not sure how this new application will work unless you are around for their interview.

So documents would have to show who's taking them to the US and how to prove they are coming back. My two cents

Now this is what you have to know too, i got a new passport with my surname changed (because am married so wanted to answer my husbands name). My husband however is an American with a foreign name. So have been thinking if my change of name on my new passport had something to do with my visa not renewed. I scheduled my interview on april with the first available date that i saw.... Just few days ago i received a mail from the embassy that they have rescheduled me for next week..... bringing my interview date closer ...lol i don't know what i did to them. am confused....

any advice please? thank you

Not exactly true.... It can remain valid till expiry date. I've actually seen someone that traveled and came back while awaiting his 221(g) interview appointment lately here.

These guys can call you up for any random reason. As long as you never overstayed nor fail to abide by the visa conditions, you should be good, especially that you made a trip to the US with it as earlier scheduled and came back should be a plus too methinks.... I personally believe if it was anything major, you wouldn’t pass the radar of the CBP on arrival to the US POE, I may be entirely wrong on this though but I doubt I am.

My situation is this. My husband is a lpr who has filed i 130 for me. Anyone know if I can successfully get a visa with a pending i 130?

Also when applying, should i use my statement or my husband statement since he is the one sponsoring me and the trip. My statement of account is not too adequate. I am also a hair dresser, are there any documents I can use in backing this up in terms of my job?

once i 130 is filed, u are not entitled to apply for visa because you will be refused by the VO.
