The nature of the job will cause them to fail in their marital duties. Besides we need to have the cook live very close to the school. Married persons may not be able to relocate due to family considerations.

If someone like you are asked to pay N150k per term to have your child in a boarding house, can you afford it? You will be the first to scream that school owners are charging excessive fees yet you want schools to pay roof top salaries. A week ago, I lodged in an hotel in Lagos. The lady receptionist there has an OND, works 24 hours, 7 days a week. When I jokingly told her she must be earning millions, she told me she earns less than 20k per month. She also cleans some rooms. If that were to be a school, we'll ask for the head of the proprietor. I fear God, that is why when I advertise, I put the salary there so you don't waste your MB applying or waste time and money attending interviews.

If you were earning 100k in 2017, I'm sure if the organisation you work for has made progress, you will be earning more now. But find out from those you met in the organization, they will tell you, they started with a much smaller salary. You will never understand until you start your business and you have to balance your books. All those theories you learnt at school, you will discover the real world is a different ball game. You take a loan to build your dream restaurant, buy generator, fuel it, buy a vehicle to do home delivery, factor in various government levies and taxes and see how much you will start your workers off with. who told you, my resturant never came to fruition. Bottom pot is now two years old. The workers i hired at the beginning are still with me and my staff of five are not complaining and put in their best cos i pay them fairly well with reasonable work hours.
Yes it was tough initially, it still is, but it is my core value not to cheat a honest man of his pay. I learned to start small, took a accounting course and did some other things, looking towards expansion late in the year or next year.
