Believe me when I say the reason so many Nigerians abroad don’t want to return home is because they’ve lost the plot: they are poor, mentally broken because of all the years spent abroad with nothing to show and too ashamed to return empty-handed. Their families at home will keep discouraging them from returning; saying things are too difficult at home; yet they keep asking them for foreign currency to raise their own children and even build houses. I lived abroad for 13 years and I’ve seen so many of such.

See America many Nigerians are dying to go, is where another Nigeria man is begging to leave.Hmmm! The grass is not always green on the other side
Na so. That's why traveling abroad does not guarantee that you'd do well It's important to atleast get an education;have atleast a degree here before relocating so as to be easy to get a good job. That's why I recommend nursing,it pays a lot. Nurses are one of the richest professionals and skilled workers in Canada and the US.

Homeless and broke after 35 long years in the United States? Same country where sharp Naija boys make it one way or the other within a couple of months? What can it be other than village people determined to rubbish his destiny? Blocking his eyes, nose and ears to opportunities and numbing his body and soul from taking productive action. Condemning him to lethargy, lifelessness and terminal passivity. May God help him.

Village people would never succeed in making our lives one of failure and uselessness. Somebody shout a loud AMEN.
AMEN

Have you ever been in a situation where you began to miss (long throat for) purewater sachet (the nylon O!), okada? Sand?

Pray it never happens to you.

People like you are the type who when they travel abroad, cannot live with those abroad. They still want to phone home every 2 seconds, and be speaking native language. They are unable to integrate with white man. They want to be overseas and back home at the same time. They must browse Nigerian website and social media and comment on every thread.

Pray it does not happen to you.

This is really nice. Help has come the way of a sick Nigerian man who's homeless and stranded in Houston, United States of America.

The man's plight was brought to social media after Nigerian entertainer who is based in America, Chinomso Prince Egbuchere, spotted him laying on the ground in Houston.

The man identified as Emmanuel who hails from Mbaise in Imo state, revealed he has been in the US for 35 years now and has been suffering from various sickness including swollen legs due to diabetes.

He said he couldn't do anything about it due to financial incapability. He also claimed he has a son there who is not cooperative and that he wants to return to Nigeria but doesn't know how.

The Mbaise community in Houston after hearing of his case, mobilized themselves and rushed the homeless man to the hospital for treatment.

Efforts are also being made to find a home for the man or help him return to Nigeria if he makes up his mind among other assistance the community offered him.

He. Should not come back here. The Nigerians in Us(all tribes) should contribute money and fix the mess. after all they claimed Nigeria is not good. No light, no good roads blablabla. How can he survive here. A country without light. He used his youthful age for America, therefore he should remain there at his old age. Chikena.
