Guy,it seems rochas is reading my mind.just this morning,i said that 50% of his votes were from the three mbaise lgas while owerri zone as a whole gave h 75% making him a sectional winner.i also made mention of the fact that the inec officials were in a hurry to declare the results and leave.if you minus the inflated votes from mbaise, nwosu will be leading.
Yeah, sorry ehn, kpele, dough. it can pain

Sorry sir, inec never made mention of any figure.if so,post the news let us see if any inec official made such clarifications

As yoh can clearly see the results of that senatorial zone as declared by INEC is in the article. Two INEC officials also agreed that there was an error in the decalration.

But then again, you knew all these before now.

Hypocrite!!!

If you know the kind rigging Rochas did in orlu, you go run. 98% of uche nwosu vote came from orlu

Go to court then, that's simple.

This result is fake because it's showing Ihedioha winning 9 LGAs instead of 11 LGAs announced by the REC

Ihedioha won 11 LGAs with 25% in 17LGAs

And moreover, there is an LGA that seems to be 24.5% which if approximated will give him 18 LGAs required by Law

Cry me a river

This thread has made me realized that igbos are more emotional than rational.
Rochas raised a point that the person declared winner of the Imo governorship election did not meet the 2/3 LGA constitutional requirements, and instead of debating whether he is right or wrong, most commentators here are talking about "Iberiberism", election rigging and how much Rochas is hated.
All theses totally irrelevant to the argument.

PDP knows this already..

The game is to delay the court process for as long as possible, whilst racking up resources to face him again at the rerun elections.

As much as we don't want Rochas in-law,we should remember that when we cry,we see.Rochas def has a point, and its valid, there's a mischief somewhere from the Mbaise votes and the hurried declaration of Resu
lt.A lawyer close to me as the announcement was going on stated that there wasn't a clear winner,as a lot of votes weren't counted, burnt INEC offices shld amount to a re-run...Rochas has a case,a valid one..

Good submission, this is how people should argue.both of them will end up in court though nwosu has a stronger and will get justice faster case since his case is a breach of the constitution.even in obubra etung federal constituency, inec canceled elections in etung and declared the pdp candidate winner from the obubra results who was leading by just 500 votes while etung lga has over 40 000 voters.inec made a lot of mistakes this year. perhaps an electronic voting system may solve all these.
Finally,there is no hypocrisy here.

No,60% of nwosu's votes came from orlu while 40% from other zones unlike ihedioha who had over 75% votes from owerri zone.it shows nwosu is more acceptable in the state than ihedioha who is more at home in owerri zone.
