bobobooge: They had the game won in the first leg with Samu playing an important role by the way. A weaker team was played today. Cazorla and Samu were saved for the league, which is more important for Villarreal at the moment. 10 Likes 1 Share |

BascoVanVeli: Slavia beating Sevilla in one game does not mean a player gets more exposure playing for Slavia than Sevilla. Playing in the French, Spanish or German league gives a player more exposure because they are the best leagues. A player that impresses in France could easily move to a big club. It does not mean that a team from a lower league can not beat a spanish, french or german team. It is football. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

tbaba1234: They beat them in two matches and. The conversation is not about exposure. Moving to a club that can compete with the likes of Sevilla proves that he is serious about his career. Why shouldn't he get paid what he feels like he is worth? Like I said Ronaldo could have been a good boy and collected less to be at the biggest club in the world but he wanted what he felt he was worth |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 1:15am On Mar 15, 2019 |
BascoVanVeli: My point has always been about exposure. Trencin beat Feyenoord earlier in the competition. Would you then recommend that Nigerian player go to Slovakia instead of Holland?? Better leagues give you a consistent level of competition weekly. That is needed to reach the top level. Slavia Prague will be back playing the likes of Jablonec and banik. Sevilla will be competing against Barca and the madrid clubs. There is no doubt about who will be getting the more exposure and top competition. 5 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: So are u saying that Ronaldo is facing the same level of competition in Serie A that he would in Spain? I would tell a young Nigerian to go where he is most wanted and money is a good way of showing that. |

Osayi Samuel has been on the books of QPR for quite some years now. Nothing spectacular yet. He may grow into something in future. Who knows. The more pertinent question surrounds Ebere Eze. He’s not been having high ratings lately.

|

andrew444:Deschamps have explained before now that he doesn’t need two left footed central defenders in his team to maintain a good balance hence he has not called Laporte since Umtiti is already part of the team. He gave this explanation when Laporte called him out publicly on why he is not being selected. I guess same reason applies to Lenglet and the coach seems to be reasonably tilted to Umtiti ahead of the other two, more like being a human here! |
