Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 19 by seyiade26: 2:42pm On Mar 15, 2019 |
So one complains about some shady action by my broker and the next thing is ban for a week. It is well. Anyways I am not trading again this week as we had enough for 1 week. GBP refusing to go down meaningfully all week and coupled with much indiscipline and half-developed skill in entry and exit, I was staring another losing week in the face today. Just had to enter gambling mode to get around 10pct for week (it was a lot more yesterday before the crazy GJ and GU losses today). It's not really gambling as it was justified trade. Just about twice the usual size. In all we thank God for the week. Learnt big lessons for future. The key thing to learn is to wait. Let the trade chase you and not the other way around. If you are not getting enough trades for your enthusiasm with a system then learn more systems to create more triggers. Cheers... 1 Like |

^ Boss, GBP did meaningful drops. Try and pay more attention to the charts. That way you are able to know where to enter and exit. 2 Likes |

Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 19 by seyiade26: 3:17pm On Mar 15, 2019 |
infofirst: Boss I think you are right. Maybe my comment was maybe impulsive. I entered gbpchf at the top Tuesday or Wednesday when it dropped massively but I totally missing out on the drop because I set breakeven too quickly when it was ranging after the first drop at the start of the day. The brief rally just took me out before the eventual big move down. Great inefficiency there. Also today I was a part of the first big drop in the morning. By the end account was at around 20-30% increase for week and I did get out near the bottom before the rally again. After that I kept re-entering at meaningless points expecting the drop to resume quickly (terrible judgement entirely removed from my methods). That's where I screwed up not just today but many times this week. The 'gamble' itself that was one of the final trades today was GJ sell. There were many other inefficiencies this week; like reversals at points where I knew price could reverse on me, but just hoped it would pass and reach my tp. Price ends up reversing there. Other times the exact opposite happens. I do use split trades but there are so many levels so this area can never be an exact science. Bottom line is entry is not my problem, since I have done my homework there . I just need to improve discipline and trade management... Finally my system finally started picking up gbp pairs en-mass around mid-week when most of the big dips had happened. I am continuously tweaking stuff because of the way I trade. Lines or parameters can be changed and the results can be slightly or very different. I am still expecting, specifically GU, GJ and gbpchf to drop some real distance soon and was hoping to get in yesterday or today. As it is I may still get in today if... |

@Seyiade26. Good trade and self appraisal from you. Kindly ensure you remain positive. Do not give up on the battle. I will advice you get trading books on psychology, money management etc. You will get there eventually. 1 Like |

Do your basic check and calculation of the update I posted last week Friday with what I posted today so you can be civil most especially when responding to me. 1 Like |

Boss Infofirst, please I will suggest you still allow those of them participating in the contest to be allowed to create new demo accounts and continue trading without being kicked out of the contest whenever they blow any of the accounts they created. That other first guy (can't remember his username) was honest enough and admitted he blew his, I suggest he be recalled back to the contest since the goal is to show improvements in their trades over a period of 3 months max before you can then judge and reward the ones satisfactory enough to you. Just my humble suggestion Sir. You're still my oga. One does not give his boss orders 1 Like |

seyiade26: Now that you identify some of your weakness , it's time to work on it. My week was very very simple, I didn't chase any market at all. They all came to me, no anxiousness whatsoever. Missed some GBP because I was waiting for them to rise a little more before selling them. They fell before reaching my area to enter sell. I could care less, I'm not chasing nada . 4 Likes |

Chill guys. @awesomeduru. Don't judge a book by the cover. @Benqozenero. Apologies. I only asked for the rest of the week because all you posted showed today date and two of the trades did not even pick and the other two were with less than ten pips. @awesomeduruduru@benqozenero, See and act as if you did not see, hear and act like you did not hear increases one in wisdom |

It's good to know you take way less trades than I do, keep it up bro, you're doing great. We are no enemies, the market however is the common enemy we have. Let's kick it's butt not ours. Benqozenero: Smile. Both of you are having so much andrelaline ni. Youth things. But chill. I remembered someone here wrote I should keep quiet simply because I wrote that I do not use stop loss. Did I react? Yes but I reacted with calm words. Some of what makes senses to us now will later turn to be senseless and vice versa. So why the fuse. Let's learn to tolerate others. redsox11: Always on point my boss. More power... Indeed yesterday I made enough profit by mid-asian session to close shop for the day (almost night-owling . But I regretted closing the trades before tp (previous bad reversals were hunting). Woke up to find price went beyond most of my tps and regretted the lost potential profit. So what I did (since I just had to trade and no new setups were forming) was trade against my system (based on the premise I knew I was likely to lose if I tried entering in the same direction). As you might expect it was just back and forth with no real gain or loss... I just have to chill... |
