Lol the biggest lie ever told is "Education is the key". Key to wetin? grin grin grin.

On a more serious note, I think you should go for the Nigeria Air Force. It's a really great opportunity plus they pay well. You can have an amazing career in the AirForce than sitting in one boring class from morning till night with even lecturers frustrating your effort undecided.
I swear if I could turn back the hands of clock, instead of me to be in the University, na Nigeria Air force I for just dey sef with their impeccable uniform smiley.

Op, lastly pray about it. Don't let anyone pressure you to do what you don't want to do.

OK I'm sorry. I had this perception that they were well paid due to the hazards in their job.

There are two different sectors, Commissioned those that got employed with their degrees/master Degree, their pay is okay about 160k for Freshers, and the Non-commisioned the one the OP is trying to do, he only needs his SSCE, about (sorry) 55k for Freshers.

The OP should look at the kind of course he got, if its very lucrative, he should forget about Air Force, and be very prayerful. He can still apply for short service of 'Commisioned' after attaining his degree.

What shall it profit you after your university admission then you tried to enter the air force.
You have got to go to the airforce then try to study on the part time.
May the force be with you in your decision.

But guy remember Na Recruit you go be woh.....but I know a recruit who's currently rounding up his MSc, so it all depends on luck, pray you don't get posted to lake chad

Nope your university admission should come first, going into the Airforce as a recruit is very challenging, it is not as glamorous as it looks. Do your 4/5 years in the university, graduate n apply short service if u still want to be a force personnel. Peace

I see a lot of peeps advising you to chose being an airman than getting an adequate education. After serving 25yrs as an airforce recruit, a newly commissioned officer with a degree certificate will still rank above you. I don't know why people have this primitive mentality of grabbing anything that comes their way because the cowards are afraid of tomorrow. If you are above 23yrs, you can enroll into the airforce, if not, enroll into the school and get educated. Education is not just about getting work; it sets you up and equips you for the life journey ahead.

Just know that if you enroll into airforce now, their is a limit to what you can achieve in the future. your promotion is capped at a certain limit. With an adequate education, you can soar higher than what you are dreaming of right now. Don't be myopic.
