Joining the military with no good education will be tough for you, I won't even advise my enemy to do that but again getting a job after graduation in Nigeria can also be tough. It all depends on what you want in life. If the military is your dream, I'll advise you to go for it and get your education later but if not, I'll advise you go to school and get another career. Military is not for everyone, the life that comes with it can frustrate your life, your relationships with friends and family. Again, it's all about what one has passion for. Goodluck.

A Master warrant officer which is the highest rank you can get to as a recruit earns just a little above 100k. An Air craft man, which is the rank he will start with is about 50k. Please don't advise this young man wrongly.

A recruit is different from an officer.

OP, please go to the University, spend four years in school, do NYSC and try the Air Force again. Then you will earn well.
If you join the Air Force as a recruit, I bet you won't have the chance to go to the University in the next five years; you might have the chance much later if you are lucky.

This one na betta dilemma o! OP, like somebody already asked, what course were you admitted for? I think that would give a clearer picture in comparing your career prospects between the two.

There are two different sectors, Commissioned those that got employed with their degrees/master Degree, their pay is okay about 160k for Freshers, and the Non-commisioned the one the OP is trying to do, he only needs his SSCE, about 30-35k for Freshers.

The OP should look at the kind of course he got, if its very lucrative, he should forget about Air Force, and be very prayerful. He can still apply for short service of 'Commisioned' after attaining his degree.

An Airforce fresher also called aircraftman earns about 65k monthly, its also depends on ur field and courses you go for, in which certain allowances is added.

During my school days which is last year. I get one of my padi wa be air force man, we finish together..... My brother that guy no de find work again oo.. He Dan finish school and na him 10 abi 11 years in the force, now na promotion he go start to get.. If I be u I for no even ask, na air force sure pass... At list them de release their guys to study... School leave...

Defer your admission for a year then enter the force. If you don't like it, you still have the option of going back to school.

Bro take d airforce carreer,lucky for you if you find ur self in d Aircraft engineering line, mind you there ar professional courses in d airfoce, the least earner in airforce is 64k(SSCE CERT) but ND around 80k, u can join d airforce and self sponsor your self in schl.

Honestly an airman would be better no job in naija this days too much graduate too little jobs to go round

Process both.
Gaining admission doesn't guarantee you'll pass the screening for air Force.start both process if you can ,when u secure the air Force then u can decide the dump d uni.
