Please OP, accept the admission, make a decision to come out with at least 2.1 and be EDUCATED, not just schooled. You will have better opportunities

And b4 you ask how many people get the job, with a 2'1, you are sure to be invited for a screening test in any bank that is recruiting and trust me, the lot I know employ fresh graduates at least twice a year.

With a good degree, you are sure to be shortlisted for as much interviews as possible. The rest is now left on your personal capacity and how well you can sell yourself. You can advise him to enroll into airforce and start earning 64k per month. After 5yrs, when his mates are thru with school and service, he will be an air corporal earning 74k per month while his mates that are now graduates will enroll as commissioned lieutenants with nothing less than 180k per month. At the peak of his career, after over 25yrs of service, he will be a warrant officer earning a little over 100k with 4 children to cater for while his mates are mostly in their senior managerial role, majors and captains earning nothing less than 1mil per month.

The land is fallow and fertile, you can chose to be a mediocre and end up jelousing your peeps forever.

thats a lie u aint correct a recruit can get as high as 80 to a hundred factoring bonuses n posting. those in sambisa might b up to a hundred or more.. but d basic salary is on an averge 65 to 70k after tax n all.. airforce n navy pays well n ur promotions comes on time

I have brothers (same parents), uncles and aunties and plenty friends who have taken both options and believe me those that enter with ssce are greatly regretting, many have finished their degrees now, with CAN and Masters/PGDs but couldn't get converted to officer cadars. They are now at staff sergeants, airmen/airwomen, after 15 - 17yrs of service both in the Army and Airforce. On the flip side, their counterparts that entered with degrees as officers are now majors. The youngest with about 10yrs of service are now lieutentnts earning over 200k per month.

I went for the security job and now I am proud that I am a graduate after 7years. Also got to be commissioned. Please go for the Airforce. You future is bright there, please do not think twice.

Your application to resign may be denied without reason and you cannot go to the regular court to fight, if you have a grouse with that you complain to the same guys that denied you the approval.

Go for your degree and when you are done, enrol for Direct short service (as an officeryour promotion will be fast and your pay will be okay).But as for recruit, hmm. When You marry and have a family, you will know that the pay is not worth it (Slow promotion and a salary that will not be enough in our current economic state). Bro...as one who grew up in the NAF circles this is my one kobo....go for the recruitment ...after your course. Are you in the sciences or humanities ?...if you are a science student try and influence your posting to a place like markurdi...you will have a enough time and laxity to study full time ( Airmen have bastardized the educational release )...The NAF also has a tech institute that award degrees and is accredited by NUC...If you are in the humanities ...there is also the Nigerian Army School of Finance and admin ...also duly accredited ....after your studies you can do your DSSC and become an officer ...I know tons of officers who were enlisted into NAF airmen ( recruits ) and later made officer cadre ...some are even red necks ...my one kobo
