No response to all my enquiry (sad much)

joyoi:
Hello everyone, am glad to be here thanks for all the information we keep gathering here,we are seriously thinking of going this Australia route but I have some small small questions I want the elders to please help me answer:

my hubby is 34yrs with a degree in accounting and masters in finance, he will be 8years by april 1st working as an internal control in a bank, please how positive will his assessment be with VETASSES, he is going to be the primary applicant.

I on the other hand though havent worked in a while but I have a degree in adult education/english and have over 4years of work experience in customer service. Pls do I need to also get verified too?

Please what is the cost implication (visa fee, immigration fee, proof of funds e.t.c. I dont mind a rough estimate pls) for a family of three in this australia immigration journey.

Please elders dont be offended if my questions are too much, just look with pity on dis smallie. I will really appreciate any kind and helpful response I can get. Thanks in anticipation.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by joyoi: 5:46pm On Mar 16, 2019
No sir not yet, we want to wait till 1st of april so we can claim all the eight years although if he adds his one year nysc that will make it 9yrs but we dont know if VETASSES recognises nysc as work experience too.

udemski:

I want to know if you've done done the assessment.

It's the hustle...

Something only Bellong has distinguished himself in...

Hopefully, you won't join the crowd of getting lost in the wind months after arrival...

After 6 - 12 months of arriving, you may find yourself in the same boat depending on your job role and responsibilities as well as extra curricular activities.

In all, Grace is sufficient.

See you soon in Down Under grin

No one can tell you if your hubby will get positive assessment or not , I dont know if they have internal control officer on the list before he assess he should know that his job should be closely related to what he studied because anything different vetassess will give him negative outcome.

You can be the main applicant by assessing as a customer service manager make sure you align your job to match the anszco task.

Vetassess assessment is $ 880
PT E is 50k as per the last time i wrote
Ielts is 75k
No payment for EOI but some states require you to pay for the nomination, some states don't ask for POF so the best is to find out which states are available for customer service manager.
Medical is 45k as per the last time i did mine with iom
Police character 5k
yellow fever cert 1k
Visa fee please check through Google
Flight depending on the airline through IOM budget 1.2m and above for family of 3 it might be less.

Oh thank you so much ma/sir for your kind input, actually we checked through ANSZCO and found out that internal auditor is in line with his job description, although the job titles are different the job description is the same thing he is doing currently, we are thinking of using his B.sc in accounting as his masters in finance certificate hasnt been issued yet, dont know if all this will fly with VETASSES, although from one of the attachments oga bellong droped on the old thread (general guide to Australia) I saw that one of the requirements for assessment of internal auditor in VETASSES is B.sc accounting but that was wayback in 2016 dont know if its still the same, he is the main applicant because he has more years of work experience while I on the other hand
Av a B.ed in Adult education/English but never worked in the feild and I have lesser work experience in years, so am thinking I might not get a good review too hence the reason for taking the back seat, the whole Australian thing is just so overwhelming especially when you are coming from the canada thread which looks really straightforward left to hubby he wants to move to canada but for reasons I cannot explain my heart keeps telling me australia will be good to us. Once again thanks for your response am so glad someone answered me.

Have you found a related occupation to your experience on the list? If you have found one, for sales, marketing and customer service, you necessarily don't need qualification in that area but experience.

Happy Sunday to everyone. Please I need help again o. @Bellong and all the professionals on this race. I have successfully gathered all my docs for assessment with VETASSESS and haven't gotten any solid help on this:

I have going to 9 years (8+) experience and have worked in only 2 companies. My previous employer has given me a statement of service in line with VETASSESS specification and I equally have the pay slips too. My major concern is I neither have pension not tax for my previous employer as we we're even paid by cash. It wasn't a structured organisation as such. How do I get proof of Tax or pension for a previous company I worked for last in 2015... over 4 years ago. I tried to speak with my present company's tax contact and he said there was no way I can get it except for last 3 years even when I offered to pay for 2010 to 2015 just so i can submit to vetassess. That is the only rhing keeping me ans i need help as in serious help on this. Please help!!! How do I get pension or tax evidence for my previous employer. Any help pls contact me. Thank you.

LONG POST ALERT

The desire to leave the shores of this country became fully matured in December 2016.
At this time, I've missed so many opportunities due to lack of knowledge, pride and loyalty to motherland.
I don't need to bore you with my story...especially how I spent all the money I was forced to save up for Canny processing on my first automobile. The good news however is that, I am leaving finally, and for good! My family was granted Tas 489 Visa on 16th March 2019- the mail dropped at about 1:35am. And I gave way to tears! Sleep disappeared.

Nominated Occupation- Agricultural Consultant (234111)
IED- August 8, 2019.

First IELTS-
21st January 2017
L-7.5, R-6.0, W-6.5, S-8

PTE-
25th July 2017
L-66, R-71, S-63, W-81.

Second IELTS-
2nd December 2017
L-7.5, R-8.0, S-7.5, W-7.5

VETASSESS application submitted 10th August, 2017
Positive outcome- 27th September, 2017 at about 12:10am.
Applied to Victoria- 21st December, 2017.
Application rejected on 22nd January 2018- SAME GENERIC STORY (Spit)

At this point, I became discouraged. A lot happened! (Skip).

Thanks to Olusola who called on that fateful Sunday and gave some ginger, and @pearlypriest who became a monitoring spirit.#lols.

29th June 2018- Applied to TAS for nomination.
30th July 2018- Case Officer was assigned.
6th August 2018- Application supported .
8th August, 2018- Police Clearance Certificate processed and collected.
19th October 2018- Visa application made through Austransact (cheapest, convenient, transparent), though wasn't confirmed until Monday 22nd due to late payment on Friday 19th.
21st October 2018- Baby came- Implication? We'll have to pay Visa fee for baby since our payment wasn't confirmed before baby's arrival. Waited till CO requested we pay after uploading Form 1441- Notification of change in Circumstances.

8th January, 2019- Yellow card processed and collected.
10th January, 2019- CO requested we pay for baby as additional dependent, and do medicals. Again, we paid through Austransact (Fast, Convenient, Reliable). Booked medicals with IOM, and the earliest date we could get was Feb 7, 2019.
7th February 2019- Medical examination.

16th March 2019- GRANT.
THE GOLDEN MAIL!!! The mail notifications actually woke me.

Was it an easy process? No! But is it worth it ABSOLUTELY!!!
Let Jah be praised.

And now, I can't but mention and appreciate just few of those who stuck with me and saw me through the process- in no particular order:
@bellong- You're forever blessed among men Sir.
@Alphadoor- The door is forever opened in your favour.
@pearlypriest- Happy 10 years wedding anniversary...more blessed togetherness Sir. You've been closer than a brother.

@AmaSophy, Tax clearance or pension is not a strict requirement by VETASSESS if you have substantial proof of engagement in your nominated occupation. Payslips, statement of service, employment/offer letter, promotion letters if any, commendation/reference letter- all these are substantial.
