Please double check that. Nice observation from DMerciful, I had to calibrate mine with one battery and a multimeter to make sure that the displays are seeing and saying the same thing. There should be a potentiometer/variable resistor at the back of the display. Use that for the calibration.

Calm down , you don't need that rigorous wahala ! I won't advice you calibrate since you haven't tampered with the rheostat / potentiometer in past as it will everly give you unstable results when you do ! Your chances of +/- 1or2v differentials tend to rise after calibration. I use more of the simple types for most of my latest volt monitoring designs as seen in picture below.

I have not seen(yet) the differentials on the ones I normally use after calibration. My reading/display is in two decimal places ie 12.85 etc and the max difference recorded is 0.02(12.85 and 12.83, for example)

Yep same point .. what you are seeing is just .02 differentials for your model which uses the unneeded decimals per say. If it hasn't been caliberated before , no need of tampering with the variable ! Cheer's

They promised to send a technician to come check it out later.
On my way out....saw this sticker..and was wondering if my complaint was even in order ...

But some people here said theirs consume 400w on gen mode..??.
Am contemplating buying a 2nd unit..but thinking of haier thermoccool now..would appreciate feedback from folks using the inverter ac

The 1HP LG inverter AC ramps down to like 400w after say 5 hours of operation in Gen mode.

your post reminded me that i have 1similar pair of dc&ac watt meters lying around, gotta dust them up and install.
The LG folks came, and said the behaviour of my ac is normal.....the inverter ac appears to be overhyped, if you ask me..imagine advertising that ''i pass my neighbour gen'' can power a 1hp inverter ac, at 700w, it wud be a big drain on the 1kva gen, only a brand new i pass my nebo can cope, and i bet it would fall apart soon enough
