I forgive u Xhosa gal for not knowing your history. Its sad you can't know how SADC was formed years before SA got her independence. SADC started as a liberation movement which was called Frontline states.Tanzania was a founding member together with Zambia. It later changed and be called SADC.South Africa applied to join SADC after 94. SADC of now, its main purpose is to cooperate members on security and economic affairs.

Tanzania is in East Africa geographically. In foreign policy, we are both in SADC and East African community
