Dear Friends,

Good evening. I took time to read the whole Australian PR process and I must say, it was pretty straight forward. However, I'd like to clarify a couple of things.

1. I got to understand the difference between 189 and 190 Visas today. But to be on a safer page, as an Advert Specialist, which of the Visa does one qualify?

2. For the 190 visa, can i apply to multiple states for nomination or its only restricted to one state?

3. For qualification assessment, am i sending transcript and certificates of my highest qualification - Masters (as is the case with Canada PR) or i'd have to include my first degree(Bsc) too?

4. Finally, if employed October 2014, and one is applying NOW, does that qualify for 5years experience or still within 4years?

Pls let her check anzsco code job description for agricultural consultant and align hers to it, then check Vetasses website for all requirements she needs to meet for assessment. Meanwhile, she can start preparing for her English test.
There is a WhatsApp group for that, you can pm me so i can link you up.
Hope this help?

Hello house, quick question. For a master's holder, do I need to also send my first degree transcript with my O level and maters' transcript for ECA?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by stifo2012: 9:54am On Mar 19, 2019
First and foremost, you need to read up the page 1 of the previous thread to better understand the whole process.

Find out the occupation from https://www.anzscosearch.com/mltssl/ which best descries and corresponds with what you do.

For the 190 visa, you can apply to multiple states as long as they are sponsoring it

Am hoping to get assessed with TRA for ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN and hope for state nomination, but my previous HR manager has given me reference for END USER SUPPORT ENGINEER; I recently read that SA would not allow someone claim experience for skills except they are on same ANZSCO grouping....

1. Would there be any issue with job mismatch as at the time of claiming experience, or whats the way out of it if it's true
2. Does TRA accept a 3rd party reference letter from someone's supervisor.

Guru's in the house please kindly assist.

Thanks.

Good evening everyone,

so my partner and myself have been on the canada journey for a while but finally realized it's not for us, since we both don't have masters. we did our assessment with both EA and Vetassess and came out positive. Bellow is our point

1. Age-30
2. Experience -10
3. Education - 15
4. English test - 10
5. Spouse Experience - 5

I will want to know if we are fine for the 189 visa class or we need to take the English test and target 20 point which proves very difficult for us.

Oga Bellong and other oga's in the house kindly out. Thanks

Please relax, you need to read the first page of this thread to understand some basics.

For the point calculator, use this https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/tools/points-calculator

For 189, you can work and live anywhere in Australia while for 190, you are expected to live and work in the sponsoring state for your first 2 years before you can relocate to another state.

State your point breakdown so it would be easy for people to advice you.

Hi bellong and wonderfull people on this platform ,you guys are doing a great job.

Iwant to do my assessment with ACS ,I want to ask if job titles or roles and duties more important for Australian immigration? I fit into computer networks and system engineer for the 189 visa, but my designation is IT support engineer. Will that cause a problem on the ACS assessment?

Im getting reference letter from two company

my current company reference letter job description are closely related to the job description of computer networks and system engineer
as in ANZSCO but they insisted on putting my job title as IT Support Engineer.
My previous company reference letter indicates my job ttitle as computer networks and system engineer with closely related job description of computer networks and system engineer as in ANZSCO

Will that cause a problem on the ACS assessment?

Thanking you in anticipation of your advice. Pls help house.

You would get a positive assesment from ACS but you wont be able to claim points for the experience because of the different ANZCO code

bellong pls i need your assistance, i have a Masters degree and while i was looking through the qualifications section i saw that they only recognise Bsc and Phd. does that mean that a masters (research) doesnt get me points.
And also i saw this below in the qualification section. pls what does it mean.
An award or qualification the relevant assessing authority for your nominated skilled occupation recognises.

How do i also submit my degree for assessment. pls can i get a link

Good evening everyone. I have been a very silent observer and then follower of this thread for 2 years. I have followed advice from posts and experiences shared. We now have our ITA from SA on 489 and I want to say thank you to everyone that has shared and contributed. It’s been a bit rough: we had to change plans more than once but hey, it’s all working for good. Thanks to @bellong for starting this. I will try not to be so silent and send updates on the progress of our application to help others too.

Bellacious:

For the tax return, you need to submit evidence of tax payment. If you have not been paying tax,now is the time to go and pay and you have to pay for 3yrs i.e. 2015-2017, after payment, you will be given a tax clearance certificate which you will send to CO. Bear in mind that the amount to pay will be determined by your gross earning per month. Just be careful so as not to complicate things for yourself. Best of luck.

Please can someone has done this or Oga @bellong clarify the exact tax document needed? Different terms have been used: tax returns, tax clearance certificate etc. In the answer quoted above, what he will get from a direct assessment (in a case where his company has not been remitting tax on his behalf) is a tax card that will show only his name but not the name of any organization. My question is, is this acceptable? Is the eTCC card sufficient without the name of the organization? Cos that’s all I have

yes i have. I found sales and marketing manager and the assessing body is AIM. Can you shed some liggt on what the requirements of tge AIM might be? I also saw a condition. For visa that said one must be unmarried b4 immigrating. Is that correct or am i misreading

Have you found a related occupation to your experience on the list? If you have found one, for sales, marketing and customer service, you necessarily don't need qualification in that area but experience.
