Gone are the days when Diss tracks flew around at any slightest provocation, artists would readily step into the studio to attack another artist lyrically and the other artist would replicate the favour until a truce is reached or one of the artists gets tired and then stops beefing the other artist. In the early 2010s, there was some sort of solo beef between Kelly handsome and M. I, Wande Coal etc and non found it worthwhile returning the convo. Rapper, Olamide also dissed M.I around the same time, even though there was some sort of reply, the beef wasn't hit as expected.

The Nigerian Music industry has long drifted away from when artists went into studios and cooked up a Diss track against another artist, but to our greatest astonishment. Blackface just dropped one.

Upon the disbandment of the group, Plantashun Boiz, every member of the group went solo and at that moment everyone of them seemed to be doing great, until Blackface was unable to produce more hits like Hard Life, he remembered he also co-wrote 2face’s African Queen and started threatening to sue 2face if he does do the what is required of him. For long, Tuface kept ignoring him and the hit would die down. But after sometimes, Blackface will revitalise the issue again, I don't know if it is someone that always remembers him of it, but he surely soon starts talking about it again, talking about getting his royalties from African Queen and other works he did with 2face.

It has gone like that for over 5 years until today when Blackface released a Diss track against 2face titled WAR, then it dawned on me Blackface was in for no child's play.
Blackface claims 2face and his manager, Mr Omoregbe, whom according to him prides himself as the Head of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) and had done so to prevent him from seeking his royalties.

Well, if you have been listening to Diss tracks for ages you would be very annoyed with whom actually gave Blackface the confidence to release this track, I don't believe his lawyer has anything to do with this one.

From the very first line, you already knew you are getting garbage. If there is an adjective whacker than whack, that's what the track is. He even brought Galala dancehall beat that has since run out of vouge and dissed someone with those poorly written lines.
