Onuokwu: If you look at MSCI activities as reported by Yok, today they will be exiting only to buy back tomorrow. Traders most times follow this pattern. I believe, we all have our different philosophies and trading formula. Some losses are actually paper losses ditto profit. When you see market from this perspective, you tend to be a bit patient and relaxed rather than jump at every sound and signal of bear or bull. 2 Likes |

They will first of all pump it. Those that sold to buy into Diamond at low price have to buy back. onegentleguy: |

onegentleguy: rebekah2011: I don't know where u got this ur hypothesis of 'pump and dump' from but well, just know that ACCESS was, and is still UNDERPRICED. The only dent to the coy was that it got involved with a seemingly sick diamond bank whose asset quality was questionable. But then, discount that 'seeming dent'(from the aquisation) and ACCESS will still present a juicy MoS from its intrinsic value post merger. Btw, I already highlighted the probable 'behind the scene plays' to the access-diamond merger in most of my analysis here.(refer to the parts in bold in one of the post above) The rise u see now should not come as a surprise to those who know and understand. If u understood my several analysis then, u would know that; 1) Pre merger, DIAMOND needed to move up in price to create the needed equilibrium in its face value relative to ACCESS. 2) Post merger, ACCESS will also need to push up in price to balance the price differential btw its effective price pre merger and that of its face value, and also cover up for the price 'shortfall' of approx 71k from DIAMOND(N3.13-N2.42) Remember; That shortfall came accross from... It is well !! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 2:21pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
Did you see that one of the majority owners in ACCESS sold their shares of over a billion units in 2018? Do you know why they sold? If it was indeed underpriced they should have bought more. Jim Ovia bought more of Zenith Bank shares during 2018. I don't have interest in Access Bank. onegentleguy: 1 Like |
