My worst experience with her was, leaving my home by 5am on a Monday morning, I have called on Sunday night and ask me to come only for her to ignore me and form am busy at some point even disappeared I called and send SMS until I left by 1pm. Only to see a missed from her at 3pm, called back and she didn't pick up. My thoughts are running wide, I appreciate suggestion on steps to take. I have been on this program for too long. Help 1)I think you are free to change your project supervisor, if you have not gone far on the project. Go to the person in charge of assigning supervisor and talk to him or her. During my time, my supervisor wanted to frustrate me, I quickly ran to the person in charge of assigning supervisor and explain, I told her that my house is too far from where my supervisor works, also I had little baby with me that the stress is too much and she immediately added my name to her list as one of the students she will be supervising. That was how I started afresh and finished my project. 2)Some of these supervisors need enticement, once in a while, you send airtime ......... Though I didn't not give my supervisor penny during the process but I appreciated her the day I went to submit the bind project, because she deserved it. As she is criticising she is telling you what to do, I didn't submit a chapter more than twice. Please look for those she has supervised before you and ask them how the journey was like. Good luck. |

I once meet a lady she is supervising, she was full of complains as well. I will try the option of change of supervisor. On appreciating her, she once told me she is not one that take money to give marks. She said she would not think twice to fail anyone (imagine after paying 25k and days of sacrifice in time and money) |

Gentile700: we all regretting joining the school oh. I finished my program since 2017, 2 years and still not on the graduation list. Their disregards for students welfare is already telling on the school. Imagine a school that is graduating 20k+ students while matriculating a mere 17k fresher in it's recent matriculation (majority of these freshers are going to run away after experiencing only one semester of the school). let NOUN keep frustrating their students and expect the school to progress. They don't know that majority of intending applicants to the school first make enquiries about the school from we the existing students before they decide whether to apply or not. 1 Like |

lexdino:Have you taken your time to ask yourself where is the problem coming from? What am I missing? Do you know anyone in the HQ or know someone that knows someone in the HQ? This will go a long way in resolving your issues with the school. I can tell you that they read emails, but I don't know of the response rate. Try to reach out to people in the school so they can help you out. |

Please house, I had if someone couldn't make it to the graduation ceremony and not collect certificate on that day, ha/she has to wait for about 6month and still pay some money , even if he/she has his center clearance done already. Pls how true is it? |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Whiterose21: 4:18pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
UncleSnr: You are absolutely correct. Like I said before, I finished 2017 names came out for graduation in January 2018 my name was no where to be found but my course mates that I wrote exams together saw their names, I was furious and wrote to the school, then July last year (2018) names came out still my name is not there. I had to go to the head quarters, jabi Abuja (though I'm resident of Abj) going from office to office complaining but the only option they gave me was to write, which I did. When I was leaving one of the security men stopped me and asked why I was moving from one office to another, I narrated my problem and he said " I will give you my brother's number so that you will call him, that he is a noun staff in lag " since my faculty is in Lagos (faculty of education). That was how I called, he said, he was not in charge of my department that he will refer me to the woman in charge of my department, that was how I called the woman and she said that my letters has been coming to her table and told me what was causing the delay which was not my fault parsa ,if not for that contact I don't think I will be talking of graduation now. So take a step, if you want your name to appear in July list. 2 Likes |

zyead:And what if they fail to issue certificate on that day, what are we going to do to them? My dear, I have not heard of that before now. Once you are done with your clearance I don't think you owe them anything order than to come at your own convenient time. Anyways I will be going to head quarter (jabi Abuja) tomorrow for my final clearance, I will make enquiries for your sake, hope I will remember. 1 Like |

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Tonio1: 5:49pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
Whiterose21:lol @ if they fail to issue...no be small thing. I mean, in this hardship, they really can't intend for everybody in all the nooks and crannies of the country to start running to Abuja given the fact that they released the graduation list late which heavily impedes planning the trips involved. Furthermore, its illogical for you to have paid all your fees and your degree is being withheld because you can't afford to attend convocation—it's ground for a proper lawsuit. |

Imagine Hustling to pay semester fees and register only to attempt to do your TMAs and find out that almost all the courses that you registered are wiped leaving you dumbfounded. Please people, is there a way that I can cancel this semester and re-register next semester? |

Gentile700:Unfortunately, it's already too late to drop courses talk more of cancelling semester registration. BTW I've been thinking I was the only victim of dropped registered exams. Just wasted the Semester for nothing. I'm also observing that the Portal is down, how do we submit our remaining TMAs since the deadline is tomorrow?... NOUN & their unending wahala. |
