Krisuba: Always watch the indices behaviour. This should be the key to your success.Any stock that is undervalued and receives patronage when the indices is down will be the first to rise when theire is a sudden reversal. This has helped me several times in this market. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Please house kindly advise me on what to do I have 2 stockbroking accounts; I use 1 of the accounts to buy my Zenith Bank shares and did an e-dividend mandate on that account but I recently used the 2nd one without a mandate to buy new shares of Zenith because the customer services rep said since I already have an existing mandate I would still get my dividends. She said Veritas already have my name in their register but now I am yet to receive my dividends Do I need a mandate for the 2nd account with the other broker or is there a way to merge 2 accounts? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ukay2: 8:39pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
Bezzle: Ask the registrar to confirm the total units of shares you have with them....if it tallies with what you have(in both 2 accounts).....then u don't need to mandate the second account.... 1 Like |

rebekah2011: I believe Access Bank is enticing former Diamond Bank shareholders so that they won't embark on massive offloading of shares once listed/converted. They might succeed at the end of the day. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 9:21pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
rebekah2011:Let's not be too carried away with this Access/diamond merger ooooo. Access is very wise. From my calculation, all they are working towards is the initial 3.13 they promised diamond shareholders, the extra 1naira inclusive. I may be wrong but here is my calculation: Price of Access as at today 20/03/2019 = 6.50 Price of Diamond as at cob xtyday = 2.45 6.50 X 2 = 13naira DMD: 2.45 x 7 = 17.15naira. Actual unit price of DMD in terms of Access = 13÷7 = 1.86 Now DMD shareholders share conversion = 1.86 + 1 + 0.25 = 3.11 ~ approximately 3.13. I already said I may be wrong oooo, make Una no too bash me. 1 Like |

In all these, Access shareholders stands to gain in the long run....for those who endure the "trial period". I only pity those who rushed out at loss. Must have been quite many. Access didn't try in that aspect. Let me come and be going....... |

rebekah2011: Na you know this one oo.. They don’t feel cheated, infact they gave their full support for the merger. You saw the announcement last year December does not mean shareholders were told same time ok ? I believe they both diamond and access shareholders knows about this since 2017 if not before... they were not taken aback kk ? Calls must have gone through, emails out, sms, family and friends informed kk ? Are you not wondering how that blog knew of the merger before we saw it on Nse corporate disclosure? This people don load diamond wella from people like us wey no get insider.. no pity for dem oo.. abi you no see the percentage wey vote say make the marriage hold ? |

valentinenwoko: A quick thought on this; Could it be that the reason TRANSCORP PLC had cut back on its dividend declaration for FY 2018 by a whooping 100% from 6k(in FY 2017) to 3k now, is to have more cashflow to fund project transactions like these? ...maybe, just maybe the current stakeholders in this coy might get back much more dividends via cap appreciation in the short to mid term. Either way, all I know is that this coy shall live to be one of the best performing stocks this year !! I like the things I see in the coys financial print. ...particularly in the last 3 quarters. Good times are indeed ahead of us. CAVEAT: Just a mere thought process. ...NOT a recommendation. 1 Like |
