Good morning good people of the investment world.
Please kindly help with FBN and stanbic secondary rates for today. Thanks. It's kind of critical, help a brother.

Thanks. Have you ever tried withdrawing your money without any issue? Also, do they charge for other things like it is done with
buying TB in a bank.

No I'm yet to withdraw. My investment matures exactly in 2 weeks time. But I expect redeeming my fund to be as easy as the it was to invest

you would be asked to submit documents. They don't ask for documents before you invest but they need your documents before you can withdraw.

Really?
I guess it's documents you have and not something out of the blues.

I made more than ten widrawal so far and the payment was all instant.

read my post again.

My point is, you can actually invest without the documentation or kyc but you can't withdraw without doing documentation/Kyc

Iam sure it is giving you vague values because you are not dividing the rate by 100. In the formula "interest=principal*time(tenure)*rate/365" you posted, divide the 10.5% to be 0.105.

so: interest=principal*time(tenure)*rate/365 = 2,000,000 * 91 * 0.105 /365 = 52,356.16

But why don't you consider the secondary market bros? Ever since I learnt about tbills last year, I never keep any amount more than 100k in my savings account for max 3days. The money will just be lazy in there. For me now I run both tbills and mmfs. I cant just leave money idle again. Try Secondary market, calculate what you will gain in 7days in sec market can make up for any difference BTW pry and sec mkts rates. My opinion sha. smiley
what the bolded all abbout?

It is what you get for 91 days. If you want to get higher, then you have to invest in a higher tenor.

Principal of 2m on fixed deposit @ 8.5% for 91days will give you 42,000 so it’s really not a waste considering the flexibility of Fixed deposit. Overall Tbills is better but FD is not a bad investment aswell, Depends on how you see it tho

It might not be as it depends on the rate you have been getting for your fixed deposit. If the rate has been low, then you might have been wasting your money if the money was for the long term. Terminating a TB when you need money urgently comes with penalty.

No bank will give you that rate. I'm currently running a FD with. First Bank Nigeria @6.8%. I'm on monthly rollover

You can’t say that conclusively, I have a 6m fixed deposit with ecobank @ 9% and 1m-5m will offer you 8.5%. Been running this for over 1year
