Are they new or used clothes? If the clothes are new and they have a pungent smell, then I have no idea!
XhosaNostra:

I know what you're talking about, but what I mean is something else lol. Have you ever smelled clothes from India? IDK if it's the dye they use or what, but the clothes have a distinct, unpleasant smell. The two scents are similar.

New clothes. I don't know how to put it in words but I can recognise the smell anywhere. I suspect it's some type of a dye.

Sakawa is an Hausa word and there is no Hausa tribe or native in Ghana.Have you ever heard of Ghana burger.Idiot.
really? No Hausa tribe or native in Ghana?

What of the zongo communities, what are they classified as? Or is there any form of discrimination against them or what do u mean exactly.

Cos I'm sure hausas are found in almost all northern parts of west africa and some central african countries.

Yeah because they were cheaper than what we were used to.
I remember I had tekkies (sneakers) with flashing lights on the soles. I was in love with them lol. They were selling a lot novelty stuff. Something different & new. One of the reasons we bought them even though they stank tongue

''Isimba's commissioning on Thursday brings the country's power generation capacity to 1167MW against a peak demand of about 600MW.

With a surplus that is unutilised, retail tariffs are likely to remain high.''

Hausa are not ethnically Ghanaian. the word zongo means traveller camp or stop over. but can be used interchangeably. And again hausa are not the majority in any Ghana zongo. though there are some few hausa from kano and sokoto, what we have are mossi from burkina faso, kotokori from togo, zugu from benin republic , zambaruma, garu from niger rebublic and mali and some few frafra and dagbani from northern Ghana. and there is also presence of Yoruba people. majority who are Muslim. the common language there is waterdown Hausa not the type of Hausa spoken in Nigeria and it was common because of the religion effect of the language.

Is it?

Here they never got into cellphone business. They only sold clothes & the quality wasn't the best but it was okay. Now they're into grocery shops, mostly trading in the townships & villages. People complain that they sell expired food & stale bread, which they steam to fool people into thinking it's fresh. TBH, that's where all these xenophobic attacks start, in the townships, over small things like that.

How does it feel to have a Kenyan playing for a big team in Europe (Wayanama for Spurs)? Is Waysnama your favorite?

Thank you good neighbor. The Kenyan team is currently on form. We beat Ghana in the first round but there is very little probability we'll beat them again. I hope so too but they are the favorites. Fortunately, both teams have already qualified so the game is just more of a formality.
Wouldn’t the first place finisher have advantage of getting relatively low teams in the drawing than 2nd place finisher? If so then I think Kenya should defend well and at least get a draw to finish in 1st place?

Well, most teams that will manage to get into AFCON are good and if you can't get progress from one group, there is a very low probability you'll progress from any. Anyway, we last qualified for AFCON in 2004. Just qualifying for it this year makes us happy.

Nigeria deport four Ghanaian today

The Federal Government has announced the deportation of four Ghanaian nationals for what it attributed to their violation of some immigration rules. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Friday in Abuja.

The statement reads: “The Nigeria Immigration Service has carried out a Deportation Order as authorised by the Honourable Minister of Interior in respect of four Ghanaian Nationals for violating various provisions of the Immigration Act and Regulations.

“This is in line with the powers vested on the Honourable Minister of Interior in Section 45(1) and (2) of the Immigration Act 2015. “The Order which was issued in the interest of the Public affects three males and a female. They are, Florence Donkur, Simon Gyan, Yeboah Collins and Alhaji Isa.

“They were deported to their country of origin via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja today 22nd March 2019 by 0900 hrs.

“The Controller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, uses this medium to reaffirm the commitment of the Service to enforce relevant laws whenever the need arises while encouraging regular migrants in the country to be law abiding”.

Isimba added I think 180MW - the big one is coming Karuma dam up will add 600MW. Obviously if they export it to kenya - they will makes tonnes of money - they charge crazy figure of 21kshs per unit! And I think Jinja still pretty much supply many parts of Western Kenya - after Turkwell which can generate 100MW plus was shutdown and Sondu Miiru doesn't have a dam - so it basically works on during rainy season - and they relie on Jinja & Diesel Generator. KETRACO is on the race to connect Naivasha Geothermal to Uganda..and then Uganda has to find another market for it's power.

Anyway one wishes that Africa was connected - South Africa need power - Nigeria need power - Uganda would sell their excess 1,000MW to them.

21ksh ?That's so expensive for instance if you consider the amount KPLC buys per unit even from the expensive thermal power right here in Kenya!
