If you are in the habit of checking your fare while on a trip one day you will carry a rider with a promo and once you check your fare while on that trip, uber will automatically lock up that fare

You will get a message from ur app that "Fare is locked until riders change their destination"
So I will advice you to think twice b4 you always check ur fare while on a trip.

Even with cash, rider can still b on promo, it once happened to me from silver bird to surulere, end trip and saw 100naira, rider was on promo, and d most painful part, she doesn't have 100 naira change grin , I've to let go.
If a rider is on promo that one is a different thing but if app misbehave they always lie that they are on promo.

No be only you, the way I look at the person ee. Unless na better rider and it's obvious that he will miss something very important like flight schedule I will consider the rider.
Last time I did it the woman tip me 1k, it was a card trip.
I even saw the fear in her eyes the way I was driving that day she had to hold the seat tight of fear. I did 140 on the busy TMB that day, I allayed her fears when I told her corolla is like toy to me because I have handled trucks.

grin grin I have Sha done what gazzuz asked me to do, I have changed radiator cover again, fan works well, radiator is clean, I'm sure themostat is good cause it doesn't over heat even in traffic, except if I hold on to d brakes while on D 4 very long in traffic with AC on.
Apart from that d car is perfect with OEM approved parts and fluids through out kiss
So I ll give it one last trial, if the guage rise again, I will remove themostat to have rest of mind biko

I have been on this platform since last year and have finally decided to drive on uber and taxify. I was able to register to drive on taxify and was asked to go for the training at thier centre in Surulere on getting there, I was told that I most have a car before I am admitted for the training and I don't have a car yet. Please house what do I do? I need to partner with someone and make money for both of us.

I tried to register with uber, when get to Where I am to provide the city I will like to drive, this is what I get as attached.

Please experience people in the house I need your guidance.

Go to Uber office and fix the issue. You can start with them yet, till you are able to fix the taxify issue. For taxify, I think you should try online and see. Someone might have told you that, expecting you to grease their palms.

Did you wash or replace the radiator?

Best case scenario replace

Worst case scenario wash the radiator four times, after each wash make sure car goes up to operating temperatures, then allow it to cool down before washing again, you could do this daily for 1 week, each time using just water, then the last time using OEM fluid, and you will be good if a clogged radiator is at fault

Second advice targeted at circumstances where budgets are tight

First advice if funding is not an issue
