Taxify? Doubt anything can be done.
People complain about trip errors but I have only experienced trip failure just once.
I have had network failure severally, even restarted my phone severally while on trips on taxify but the fare comes out ok. Guess the phone could be a culprit for fare error.
I use a 3gb ram/ android 7 phone. Maybe you should try that.[/quote

It's Taxify
I use 2gb Ram , iphone 5 - is 10.3.3
This the first time I experienced it.
I used Google map on the phone , could it be the use of the Google map?
Taxify already replied that I should have clicked problem with fare before ending trip.

Sorry bro, please be checking/estimating your fare from the app during the trip...you will see the progression of the fare increase and detect if all is well with the fare.

Furthermore, if this happens frequently, you might wanna check you phone specifications...cheers

Thanks I dey check fare every 5min since yesterday
I no Wan hear that's the price story again

I think the issue may be from your phone

My advice? Don't use your phone for anything. Don't receive calls or reply whatsapp messages.
Like when I started, I noticed my phone wasn't too good. And even when I calculate price, it may hang and I'll have to restart it, thereby giving me #500 price and high blood pressure together

So I stopped touching my phone. If you are going to the island, it's when I get to that area that I'll start using the map(i started getting conversant with routes). With time, I hardly encountered that nonsense again

Whatever works for you. I have restarted my phone severally while using taxify, also received calls, and I always use the Google map but I don't witness app errors. It could be my gadget or just luck.

Long calls on the same line used for data while on Taxify trips affect the charges esp while on bridges like 3mb. It happened to me from Somolu to Lekki #1,600 and I paid #300 toll o. The wicked lady that I went to deliver a package for only paid me #1,600

Seems the app a window of ten minutes to reconnect after losing network.

Riders think they have more sense than drivers.
Received a request on Uber and called the rider to confirm the address, the guy knew it would take me long to get to his destination as I would have to turn round after I told him where I was. Instead of him to cancel, he pretended network was bad and ended call. I called back but he didn't pick nor cancel (he had enough time to cancel without being charged o). So I kukuma enter street, chop and idea came to my 'brain'...'instead I should cancel and see nothing why not waka and cross and wait for 5mins chop the #300. grin

Riders don't know drivers pay heavier fines for cancelation. My cancelation rate don increase, na to do enough rides to compensate before Uber block person

so why do people condemn accord?
apart from the fact that it isn't floodwater friendly what are the benefits of buying a Honda car?

The reason why trips fail most times is not always about the phone though cant be ruled out but can also be attributed to the undermentioned:
Network glitch: Always monitor and keep a close watch on your app either Taxify/Uber when on a trip so as to know when there's disappearance of network on ur phone. Its easier to detect on Taxify app cos of the message that will pop up in a box on the phone screen and when you see such you click dismiss.
Secondly, Never you dim your phone display light any time you are on Taxify trip either during the day or at night cos by so doing will cause the app to malfunction by distorting GPS functionality thereby making it impossible to capture some sensitive locations like the tolls and others.
Thirdly, be very observant when starting Google map on trips (Taxify/Uber) because atimes it automatically shuts down the app and you won't know. So always ensure that when google map is in use during trips your Taxify/Uber app is floating paripasu on the map.
Fourthly, Also try to monitor the GPS direction of your movements when on any trip so as to know when your GPS is losing signal or stalling. Never fail to do this when on 3mb. GPS signal of Uber is represented with an arrow while that of Taxify is a car. So always ensure they move in the same direction that you are moving.
Lastly, make sure you are using a very strong network e.g Etisalat/Smile

QuitNotice:
Go to Uber office and fix the issue. You can start with them yet, till you are able to fix the taxify issue. For taxify, I think you should try online and see. Someone might have told you that, expecting you to grease their palms.
He's actually correct, these days u must have a car for them to allow you sit for training.
