Count it and see for yourself the 10th number is 3 which means its 2003. I dont know where you got your concept of red top and black engine top from. I need you to post verified fact to back up your red engine claim. Dont come here and start saying what you dont know. As for the c280, that is what the owner calls it and that is what stands. Benz has always been having similar shapes and looks.
