Do exactly as Deustchemann advised and you would be fine ...I feel using the official one is safer than the unofficial one even though a lot has used the unofficial one to get admission odimbannamdi: 1 Like |

Goztino: Lol,you na boss.... Baba eh I spent 17k at DHL posting uncertifide documents to Germany (Unipotsdam) to be precise, I got rejected,I applied to Munster, got rejected too. I didn't do enough research and honestly brother I was so desperate to leave Naija last year, I was doing everything fast-fast with no basic knowledge of how things are done. But thanks to God I met this group, I have really learnt alot and I am taking things easy now. I am grateful for being here, and glad to help anyone confused, so they won't make mistakes like I did. 6 Likes 1 Share |

My advice is, go through the webpage of the said course, you will see everything you need pertaining to the requirements. If you find anything confusing, search for the coordinator's email address and send a mail to him/her regarding what you want to know. Different Course, has different requirements(Requirement for course A may differ from Course B). Hope this helps. 1 Like |

Gewezzy1: blocked account is the fixed amount of money to block into a foreign account(i.e your German bank account). It is a neccessity for a Student visa. Please try to read previous parts of this thread/ topic. You will get more useful informations or just type in the search box the keyword of what you would like to know. People have discussed about it in previous parts. Good luck 1 Like |

Gewezzy1:block account : go to fintiba.com and open and account follow the step its just like you are opening normal online account after following the process you are to fund it with €8829 which is equivalent to 3.6 million naira or more . Now of you don't have this amount and you can't get it then you need a sponsor based in Germany who might be a German citizen or permanent resident or an European resident leaving and working in Germany and paying tax in Germany . If you are lucky to find any he will get you a verpflichtungserklärung also called sponsor letter and you are good to go . Enjoy 2 Likes |

Gewezzy1: Germany mostly have tuition free schools. However, they require you to have means a survival. Living expenses. So they expect u to open a blocked account in Germany. 720euros/mth=8640 euros. Little charges can make u round it up to say 8800euros. You move that money to Germany and the money is released to u monthly for a year period. Sponsorship Letter is obtained if u have someone in Germany who will stand as a sponsor for u. By that, the person will approach the authorities there and present necessary requirements and the letter is issued and sent to you for visa purposes |

DemigodZeus147: Any school that uses uniassist automatically puts me off. I will also apply in Freiberg and I think that will be all. I now wait for their decisions. But really, my dream course is Geomatics at Karlsruhe University of Applied sciences, their program is top notch. You will even learn programming and so many interesting modules that will make you highly employable |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Deustchemann(m): 9:33am On Mar 24, 2019 |
odimbannamdi: IF the unofficial copy you have carries the signature and stamp of the registrar of your school, then you can print it out in colored and photocopy and certify. If it's not signed and stamped, I won't advice you use it. my former post was actually referring to the official copy. Get it sent to a company and have someone pick it up for you. Photocopy it and certify. For online application, just scan the official copy and upload. For offline, send the certified copy of the official transcript. Hope it's cleared now? |

Westahorf10: Most times it depends on what the person studied or Bachelor's degree certificate acquired. It has to be or closely related to that of the Bachelor's for most schools. Although, it is always better to check the school's requirements to be precisely sure. Good luck |

Reichtum: Guy leave all these stories jare. We are all matured people here. You arent talking to babies. Keep your superstitions to yourself. Nobody is sleeping with anyone's wife. At the same time, the whole world doesn't subscribe to your primitive superstitions. There are a million fornicators whose lives are better than yours. So stop all these stories and let's focus on the reason for this thread. Thank you. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Buliwyf: 10:31am On Mar 24, 2019 |
Goztino: There are benefits to using uni-assist though. Like the fact that your certificates can be easily be quickly processed and you can hear back from the school early enough to apply for a visa. Since the school wont need to start ascertaining the veracity and equivalency of your credentials before making a decision about you. Another advantage is that you only send your documents to uniassist once. The disadvantage is the amount u have to pay for each application. Personally I prefer uniassist to any school that asks me to send my application to them via post. 1 Like |
