DeejahAJ: Send an Email to the Embassy requesting for personal pickup. You can also send someone you trust on your behalf for visa pickup at the Embassy. It is very possible too. Shalom 1 Like |

Chizzy4God: The bold words actually depend on the school and timeline given. You are meant to pay semester fee within the certain period of accepting the admission by some schools either you are in Germany already or not, failure to do that means only one thing which is given the slot to other students on the waiting list. Some schools could give a week, some 2 weeks while some till you enter Germany because they need you to enrol in person. Shalom |

Tope2580: Thanks for your updates, guys. I did a little research and stumbled on this post from a Nairalander, www.nairaland.com/676173/german-embassy-visa/84#16493358. After doing my calculation based on it, i got a 1.69. lol. Sir, please can i get the link to the website that did this calculation? I just want to believe that whether 1.69, 2.2 or 2.26, i am at an advantaged end. Thanks for your replies, guys. I really appreciate CC:Lecksam, Annestacia |

Goztino: Generally, you can change school in Germany easily within your first 3 semesters but you might need to have a short interview with the alien office if you want to change your school from the 4th semester and above. So, it means that it is totally possible. As a matter of fact, if you are in school A and the whole thing is turning South, do not wait till you get into exam regulation troubles before you port to another course or school. Shalom |

Aerofly76: You will have to beam your searchlight on private Universities to be able to study Law in English which is not free or cheap. I think it is better to study something related to it if you do not have the money. Note: This does not also mean you can practice it as a profession after graduation despite the huge tuition. Shalom |

ibnabdulhakeem: Check through DAAD, if possible get the list of all universities in Germany on Wikipedia and open their websites one after the other cos not all schools are on DAAD. Check each school and their courses offered. I'm sure you'll find something related to your stuff. I'll conclude with an advice: Ensure you apply for a BSc alongside too... In case MSc doesn't come. A lot has been said about grace, luck, chance etc. 2 Likes |

DemigodZeus147: Before uploading you mean. There is nothing like submission button in Karlsruhe. As a matter, they have even received your application. You can confirm by checking your email. They normally receive your application even before you will be taken to upload area. Upload area is in support to your application which is already received so you don't need to click any additional submit button 1 Like |

honourableseyi: Thanks for your response. One more thing. If I change from one course to another related course after one semester. Example after one semester of studying geology at TUM, I change from the school to study geomatics at Karlsruhe University of Applied sciences. Will I start afresh or Continue from second semester since I have already done my first semester in another school? |

Goztino: In my humble opinion, I don't think you should be so bothered about the tuition issue to this extent you stated. Just get the admission first, even though finances might hinder some processes, but once you don show, you don show be that and invariably something somehow somehow go happen. From information I gathered so far, Karlsruhe gives you two years straight when you go to extend your permit, so invariably you don't have much to worry for the second year as per showing another block money. Now if you plan yourself very well, you see you can easily pay your tuitions each semester while you work and study. Usually from what I also learnt, the first six months are somehow tedious cos of the compulsory modules to be taken as well as settling down issues, so to be more realistic, you can go for a job before the second semester commence. The profs are really nice and friendly only if you demonstrate seriousness, but don't expect to be spoon fed.Just be a good chap, lol. They are highly connected as a good number of them are already in the industry and they link their students to very good job offers. Imagine getting a student job offer for something above €1000/month. In all, you will definitely be fine. So it's possible to sail through the storm nevertheless. All the very best. NB: Am not trying to down play the tuition fees issues, am just giving you some possibilities I know do exist, based on details made available to me through seniors. |

Hi everyone, I'm asking this for a brother-like friend. This bro did his WAEC in 2002 but he wasn't didn't have the opportunity of going to a higher institution to further several reasons/happenings in his life. Yesterday we were talking about studying abroad and he asked me if I know anything about studying in Germany. I told him I'd help him find out about studying in Germany. His questions are with that 2002 result, can he still apply to a German school as undergraduate? if the answer to is Yes, as an undergraduate will he be allowed to relocate his family with him? Thanks |

ajeleseujn: Hi bro, can you point me in the right direction as to how i can learn this skill? |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Deustchemann(m): 1:54am On Mar 25, 2019 |
rawe45:Hello! About the brother, WAEC alone is not sufficient to apply for a Bachelors degree. He needs it together with any of the following: 1. Completed 100L transcript 2. HND 3. Bachelors degree. Age isn't much of a factor, but he should be able to convince the VO why he hasn't been in school for a while. About the family, as most Pple do advise here, it's best he goes first and settles down, then bring his family via reunion visa later. Shalom |
