GonFreecss1: It's like my explanation wasn't clear enough to you there. What I was trying to say there is that even though I had issue with app, I knew who/where to contact which I did. I also knew my money is safe there and how else to access it other than the app. The owners of the app are Nairalanders and would have cleared issues if they wanted but they never have not done that before. Maybe they have never visited the thread or only do it without commenting I don't know. I am very sure the visit the stock market thread. If anyone is bold enough to speak for them they should be able to clear customers doubts too, that's how it works.. That said, the least I could contribute on this issue is what I have done so far.. Those using it own their money... The loss or gain is only felt by them.. Personally I already have already taken on it. |

The whole of page 735 was all about I-invest whether it’s legit or not, whether to deal with bank or the app. Personally I won’t invest my hard earned money through I-invest but then everyone is entitled to their opinion, with that being said I’ll please advice everyone to ignore further response on it as there’s already enough message here to decide on. I need public opinion, I have 8m fixed deposit at the rate of 8.5% that’ll mature may 23 but I’ve been contemplating on terminating and add more to invest in treasury bill at the secondary rate of 11.75% my bank already sent the form but my account officer said I’ll loose 25% of my accured interest if I terminate before maturity do y’all think it’s wise to terminate and invest on Tbills or hold to maturity. 1 Like |

NIGHTLIFE100: You guys just like creating problems for yourselves. Why not just wait till your fixed deposit matures? Then you can do whatever you want with the money. Call me lazy but I don't have time to do all these maths and calculus on how much I would lose should I terminate an investment. If you like tell me primary market next Thursday would be 18% and my investment is maturing the same week, I am not cancelling it before maturity #JustSaying 9 Likes |

NIGHTLIFE100: Why terminate now and lose 25% of your interest when you can just wait for 2 months and have more money to invest in TB? Not sure how much 25% of your accrued interest is. But, it's probably best to wait. My humble opinion tho. 1 Like |

ClitRaider: With 1m, you can only buy tbills at the secondary market. You have to ask your financial services provider the maturity dates that are available. I know there's a set maturing on April 4th. Buyers don't determine the maturity date of tbills so if your window is 30days you might not find something that fits exactly But if you're flexible, I'm sure they can find something for you |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by awesomeJ(m): 10:36pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
NIGHTLIFE100:perhaps we can run the numbers to see exactly which option is better. So state either the date you commenced the FD, or the tenor you're doing. That's one parameter that's yet needed. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by NIGHTLIFE100: 10:54pm On Mar 24, 2019 |
awesomeJ:Thanks I appreciate, the lost would be around 153k. I guess it’s better to hold till maturity |

Chekitaut:Sorry if I don’t share your enthusiasm, take this to the business thread those people have more risk appetite,we all know being an entrepreneur is taking risk of uncertainty but this type of business is not for the faint hearted, my personal experience before leaving nigeria structured my reasoning as your whole savings can disappear right in front of you forget insurance or whatever. I know Business is the road to riches as treasury bill won’t necessarily make you rich but it’s a good investment portfolio + retirement plan and long as I keep adding monthly wealth is certain. 2 Likes |

ClitRaider: Getting the exact 30days tenure for TB will most time come with some stroke of luck... It is not impossible anyway. Just contact your bank or other financial institutions you use to see the if it is available. |

You may not like the app but investing with it is more convenient to me, thanks to their liquidity and credibility The fact that you had one bad experience with them should not be a reason to be tarnishing their reputation as we just read from your side. I started using the app from October as i did more than 30 transactions so far. No single problem! Whenever I demand my money from either matured or running investment i got it instantly. My verdict; @Barrytone must be novice at using business application which made makes him to follow the wrong procedure of investing with the app. 1 Like |
