Men, the vilifying of Zack Snyder in this thread is too much abeg.
I still believe that Justice League would have grossed over a Billion if Zack Snyder finished the directing. Moreover, Zack Snyder did not have the creative flair the current directors are enjoying.
Warner Bros were in a hurry to build a universe like Marvel, they forgot that the MCU took time to build. Zack Snyder is just the scape goat.
MOS grossed $668m,
BVS grossed $873.6m.
It's very much safe to say that his next movie in the DCEU would have grossed even higher if he was allowed to finish what he started. After all, both Batman and WonderWoman were praised for their performance in the movie, and it was BVS that set up WonderWoman which went on to be critically and commercially acclaimed.
You guys should quit with the Snyder attack, dude did his best, but Warner Bros fùcked it all up and then finally realized they should have listened in the first place when Justice League bombed.
I seem to still remember the #Snydercut movement back then and Warner Bros never released it because? It would prove they were wrong the whole time.

That's the path DCEU needs to take, even when there are humours there still need to be dark.
In fact, WB should start picking their Comic book movies directors from "mostly horror genre", except the character's story is very far from that.
I love the risk they are taking - making their CBM more of like adventure movies.
