The founder of Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor, has warned Kaduna State Governor to avoid persecuting Christians and preachers in the state or risk the wrath of God.

The preacher gave El-Rufai seven days to reverse bill at the state House of Assembly to license religious bodies or would be visited by God.

The bill proposes that any person found guilty of preaching without a valid licence and other offences under the law “shall be liable to two years in prison or pay a fine of N200, 000.”

Under this new edict, the government seeks to create an inter-faith Ministerial Committee to be appointed by the governor which will exercise control over Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, and the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

The bill ensures that the ministerial committee shall issue licenses to religious bodies without which the body cannot preach.
It also stipulates that no external preacher can preach in Kaduna without a permit.

Speaking on the development, the cleric in a video shared on his wall on Monday night described El-Rufai as Herod, who cannot withstand the wrath of God.

In his words: “The God we serve is not a dead God, he is alive, and alive to fight for Himself. If El-Rufai refuses to reverse or change the law, let him start to prepare for the wrath of God.”
“Within two years of his re-election , God will visit him. So, it is better he listens to advise before it’s too late,” the Pastor also known as, “ The Oracle of God said.

I'm not a Christian nor Muslim. I'm a Nigerian with functional brain. Humanity existed before religion. We humans created this monster called religion to brew division and hatred. You will see people celebrating death of Muslims and Christians just because of separate beliefs forgetting they are all humans and humanity should come first. Exactly. Christianity needs to be sanitized in Nigeria.

Especially, when it comes to proliferation and noise pollution and fraud and sexual crimes committed in the name of pastor. If states don't emulate El Rufai, we will soon lose even our academic structures in the name of building churches.

You will see one complex housing 8-10 churches. Everyone is becoming a pastor nowadays and are using this title to deceive people, especially women and children. This situation needs to be controlled as soon as possible.

This bill needs to be passed into law by all 36 state and the Federal Government of Nigeria. Any congreagation of 20 or more people be it Christian, Muslim or Traditionlist must receive a license to preach from the goverment after passing pschological evaluation, and his Preaching notes and agenda must be reviewed by an inter-religious council consisting of Top Pastors ,Imam and Traditionalist. Again each cleric must be made to know how loud he can be... sound measured in debicle


To pacify our christian brothers and show its non partisanship El'rufal should endeavour to sanction atleast 10 non conplaint Islamic cleric.

You mean El-Rufai should allow more business centers like this in the picture below in his state, so they can use mighty speakers to disturb the peace of the community all in the name of Religion.

El-Rufai want to encourage more industries/factories, not business centers that will milk dry the poor Christians all in the name of miracle. If you want to build a factory in the state I'm sure you will get the FULL support of the state government on that.
