And Igbos didn't want the whole country for themselves. Why would you say that? All the political positions the Igbos occupied before 1966 were duly contested and won by them. Even in the military, they had 15 army officers out of the 30 indigenous Nigerian officers in 1958 - that was before independence. You can't say they wanted all the positions for themselves. They merited all the positions they occupied.

You should read more before you pass your judgements. I know the January 15 coup would be your next argument. But, you should not believe the lies Nigerians are selling to y'all as justifications for the atrocities they committed against the Easterners. The coup was planned by 5 majors - 4 Igbos and 1 Yoruba. The execution involved 2 other Yoruba officers - Lt. Fola Oyewole and Captain Adeleke, the NCOs, who participated in the coup were all from the northern extraction.

As for your comparison with the Kikuyus and Luos, I don't know who they're. I've never read about them.
