No 4 would only be effective if your screen is AMOLED and not IPS LCD. With AMOLED, darkening the screen actually turns off the LEDs but not so with IPS LCD screens which are lighten up by back-lights. Reducing the brightness would make no difference when it comes to power consumption.

Cool tip at no 2 there. However, I will watch to see if there is any improvement in battery life.
@others ICYDK, you can change this setting via the phone testing app. Dial *#*#4636#*#* to open it.

4. Set screen brightness to the barest minimum at night. It is good for both your eyes and battery life. I don't know about others but for me, reading mode is on 24/7.

I love the tencent 12nm process which will translate to battery longevity despite the 3180Mah.
The screen is super clear at 328ppi. Check YouTube videos to confirm it's clarity. It looks just like FHD.

Elephone? I will pass. Would rather just buy the redmi 6

the only advantage Redmi 6 has over this device is its os - Miui. that's where it ends.

I met one cute girl in school last week, her name is Joan. When I saw her last week, she had Samsung s9, I was tripped, I asked her if it was the Exynos version or the Snapdragon version, she said she doesn't know and doesn't care for that kind of information. I asked her, "at least you know the make up of your phone screen?"
she said she just chats, browse and watch videos on her phone.

Yesterday I saw her with Iphone X, I asked her how much she got the two phones, she said the Iphone X was 356k or so while the Samsung s9 was less than 285k.
.
That girl hasn't used up to 40% of those phones, and its paining me. Well she said I am a phone geek so I will definitely know more about phones than her.
.
I posted this because we have tons of users in this world that buy phones for brands, status or trend not functionality nor efficiency, and there is nothing we can say from this year till next three years that will make them change.

na una dey overhype os....shey my mama know the diff between stock nd skinned? so far things go dey open smoothly. ....btw someone's whatsapp here is nor connecting to wifi oo....make una come fix am

u sef,

but in all honesty beyond a fancy design and all those other orisirisi, my first concern is always the software and its optimisation.

Forget those pure android on all these ulefone and all these small brands, their optimisations are very terrible. Am not trying to bring down any brand here but if i have 30-38k as budget they won't be on my list even if they slap 4gb ram and 64gb of storage on the said device.

Just like most of the people I have interacted with who use Transsion device, they don't even know the processors their phone run on. I was in a phone sale shop the other day and the sales rep was trying to explain why this model is better than the other, the buyer only said "shey it has big battery and the camera clear" that was all the important information the buyer needed not all the considerations we tech enthusiasts put in before choosing a phone to buy.

It is just a tale of different strokes for different folks
