People buying fidelity bank, do not know the real gist yet. By the time the dust settles, they will realise they buying into 11kobo dividend. Very poor yield for some one buying for dividend purposes. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 10:39am On Mar 29, 2019 |
PharmAlfred: You don't seem to get how these smaller banks are managed. They need to shore up capitals by giving out little and holding back the rest so as to improve capital buffers. Fidelity has an over ambitious plan of becoming Tier 1 bank. Is it easy? So they need to plan and know how to go about this. If Fidelity pays you 50kobo and comes back to raise capital at N2 from you, how will you feel? So I believe they are holding back to improve their capital buffers. However, if you don't like it, SELL. Depress the price below N2 so that people can load up more. 4 Likes |

Oga, we respect their decision to retain profit but it should be done without intention to deceive. Why post one result and replace it later?[quote author=RabbiDoracle post=77086407] 1 Like |

lancee:Overtaking is allowed, FCMB will soon overtake Fidelity. 1. Fidelity 2018, 76.16 kobo against 2017, 61.35 Kobo, ( .76.16 - .61.35 = .14.81) increase of 14.81 kobo EPS, with dividend of 11 kobo 2. FCMB 2018, 75 kobo against 2017, 43 kobo, ( .75 - 43 = 32) increase of 32 kobo in EPS with dividend of 14 kobo FCMB has better upward potential, in terms of EPS and dividend pay out. 2 Likes |
