What if they're buying for medium/long term? People buy stocks for different reasons. I think there is need for one to be patient.

I think with current change of Fidelity bank dividend from 22 kobo to 11 kobo, the reverse will be the case, hope it will not affect FCMB.

They need to shore up capitals by giving out little and holding back the rest so as to improve capital buffers. Fidelity has an over ambitious plan of becoming Tier 1 bank. Is it easy? So they need to plan and know how to go about this.

If Fidelity pays you 50kobo and comes back to raise capital at N2 from you, how will you feel?

So I believe they are holding back to improve their capital buffers.

However, if you don't like it, SELL. Depress the price below N2 so that people can load up more.

Above will happen. Patience is key in this market. I do not think the market will spare FCMB too but I am addicted to loading FCMB for now.

1. Fidelity 2018, 76.16 kobo against 2017, 61.35 Kobo, ( .76.16 - .61.35 = .14.81) increase of 14.81 kobo EPS, with dividend of 11 kobo
2. FCMB 2018, 75 kobo against 2017, 43 kobo, ( .75 - 43 = 32) increase of 32 kobo in EPS with dividend of 14 kobo

FCMB has better upward potential, in terms of EPS and dividend pay out.
